The Way Back -A fantastic escape story to freedom

This is a beautiful story during the dawn of WWII when several men escape from a Russian gulag. The film details their perilous & uncertain journey to freedom, as they cross deserts, mountains, & nations and last but not the least several obstacles but not once even the biggest of obstacle could deter them from their conviction and that I must say what conviction is all about.

The cast of this movie is very interesting right from Ed Harris to Collin Farrell to Jim Sturgess to Saoise Ronan must say everyone fitted their role to the tee and did great justification.

The make up artists(Edouard F. Henriques, Greg Funk, Yolanda Toussieng )of this movie deserves a special mention for the fantastic work that they very shocking and surprising that they lost it to 'The Wolfman' at the Oscars this year.

This movie is beautifully shot and the content of the story keeps you completely engrossed for those two hour 10 minutes.

The movie is both thought provoking and inspiring at the same time.Worth a watch for sure.

I will never ever complain when I have to walk ever again...

Heidi - One of the most beautiful and touching movies I have witnessed in my life...

Based on the book by Johanna Spyri this movie is one of the best adaptation of book I should say.I had loved the book when I had read the same many years back and let me tell you watching the movie gave me immense joy it was like witnessing the beautiful unfolding page after page and each page giving nothing but sheer joy.

Heidi is a beautiful movie about a little girl and the beautiful relationship she develops with her grandfather and the changes she brings in his life yes there are bad people too like a horrible aunt who does not think twice in deceiving the little child and selling her to a wealthy family but Good always does win ..perseverance and patience does pay off ultimately.

This one is classing which you just ought to watch and the DVDs are available :)

Hall Pass - Hilarious it is yes but you can give it a pass and maybe watch it in DVD

Comedy should be such where laughter should come naturally but not force you to laugh this kind of falls in the later category and half way I was thinking maybe I should have for the DVD to release for this one.

Coming from the makers of 'There's something about Mary' this kind of disappoints you in terms of comedy.

Agree Comedies/Romantic Comedies are predictable most of the time but it is the treatment given which becomes differentiators and makes them worth a watch.

More than humor it goes over the top and way too raunchy rather tries too hard and thats where the problem lies it just does not let you enjoy the characters somewhere down the line you start feeling why exactly this movie was made I for one felt for sure..

Anyways wait for the DVD of this one...

Stowaway - Shirley Temple's Sheer Classic

Wow what a cute movie sheer magic I should say of innocence,beautiful story and really heartwarming.
And now I have decided to watch all the Shirley Temple movies when she was a child star like Heidi,Baby Take A Bow and I can go on and on :)
The whole story about a Casanova changing his heart and way of life because of a sweet little girl is just so sweet and innocent that you completely fall in love with it and wish there such people today as well :)
Lovely movie watch this one if you can get hold of the DVD of the same :)

Morning Glory - This one is a refreshing sweet and real fun kinda movie which will leave you happy and smiling :)

This is a real nice fun movie about a workaholic television show producer, Becky(Rachel Mc Adams), who lands the job of organizing "the worst morning show ever" and yes you guessed it right the whole story is about the wonderful turnaround she brings about and managing the world's worst show is not a joke for sure :)

I would not call this one a romantic comedy but a fun story and a really enjoyable one at that.

Loved Rachel McAdam's character she is a girl who realizes her dream of being a television producer and by pulling everyone together against the odds, creates a family in the process and the whole process is a complete joyride you will witness,Her spunky optimism and always-on attitude is what drives the movie forward and gives it a heart as well.

And Harrison Ford's character though being a snob but surely leaves you in splits with his idiosyncrasy.

Diane Keaton is quite likable too so is Patrick Wilson and Jeff Goldblum.

All in all a complete fun movie you will enjoy from start to end.Recommended for sure for that fun night at the movies :)
