NH10 - Anushka Sharma's best ..gripping story..worth a watch

Director Navdeep Singh gave us an extremely interesting movie in 2007 which I am sure many of you remember 'Manorama Six Feet Under ' and then now he is back again with NH10 so was the wait worth it ? Yes the wait was totally worth it because this crime thriller will definitely fly your wits away and the seating on the edge kinda feeling does not go away even once during 115 minutes. There is a stark and real harsh reality starts after every last mall built in the urban areas of our country for example the state of Haryana specially in their rural areas does not buy or follow any guidelines given by the constitution of India but follows its own rules of the jungle where the even the cops are useless and goes by the rule of the jungle. The rule of the jungle is kill people if they don't abide with your idiotic rules of some damn gotra etc.whatever utter crap is that. It looks like a substantial part of this country is still living in the dark ages..extremely unfortunate ..really have no other words. Coming back to the movie it deals with one of the most burning topic of today 'Honor Killing' where even mothers don't think twice to kill their own daughter neither the brother thinks twice in killing his own sibling. In the debate of right and wrong sometimes you just have to take the path of wrong to set everything right. Anushka Sharma this girl rocked the movie , somewhere i started thinking she was getting typecast but in this movie she has really come of age and is totally carrying the movie on her slender shoulders very very ably.,,impressed. Neil Bhoopalam another good actor to watch out for ..always liked him since 'No one killed Jessica' and 'Shaitan' Darshan Kumaar was superb as the bad guy , remember the adorable husband of Mary Kom smile emoticon Deepti Naval as the cold blooded murderer in disguise of a mother does a superlative in her brief role as well. My favorite part of the movie is when Anushka's character finished all the bad characters ..survival of the fittest it was..loved it. Another favorite scene was when Anushka 's character lights up a cigarette at a critical juncture before going for that final kill, that one moment does a lot for a woman breaking the shackles of a warped male dominated mindset in the heartland of India The emotions shifting from shift from empathy to antipathy is electrifying indeed smile emoticon Go watch this movie which reaffirms faith in movie making and also assures the magic of bollywood is still there for us to discover smile emoticon Yes its a violent movie but the fact is we are living in far more violent times.. Recommended as such gems are not made everyday and guess teaches us to be thankful about the pleasures of urban life even with its problems.. A movie not to be missed..
