Transformers: Dark of the Moon - What a movie totally mindblowing strictly for theater viewing :) Recommended

Honestly I am not a fan of Transformer series of movie but this one blew my mind away I was totally absorbed in it I literally had to stop myself from clapping at this awesome action packed fun filled movie enjoyed every bit of it.

Loved the way the cars were transforming into huge Transformers and like life and people there are good and bad among Transformers too and that is the subject of this movie and the storyline and what gives that extra edge are the visuals of course, how well the transformers integrate into the real-life footage to make a compelling action sequence and make a sight to watch..brilliant is all I can say.

Shia LaBeouf is cute and does a good job and Rosie is super hot can't speak much about her acting skills :) the guy who took away my heart was Josh Duhamel just love that guy my heart skips a beat every time I see him :),Patrick Dempsey is dishy and good as usual, liked the performances by Frances McDormand and John Turtarro.

Worth a watch for sure recommended and I can guarantee you won't regret.

Have A Great Weekend :)

Cars 2 - Loads of fun and entertaining and out of the world animation..worth a watch for sure

Cars the first part released in 2006 was the first of a kind with Cars getting a new lease of life and just not treated as mere piece of machines and also showing us the true meaning of friendship and relationships.

Cars 2 takes us to a different level all together with star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race spread across Tokyo,Paris and then in a very interesting manner Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own an international espionage and that is real fun to watch and had me laughing no end and of course all is well that ends well .

The animation is just out of the world loved every bit of it recommended for sure :)

Pyaar Ka Punchnama - I am so glad I decided to watch this one this was the best movie of this weekend for sure :)

I am glad there are bunch of new directors who are bringing with them a whiff of fresh air and gives cinema watching a total new meaning all together and yes makes the trip to the movie hall totally worth it.

This movie is very new age and very close to reality and can be related to the youth of today,no wonder though the movie has released last month its still running to packed houses and that speaks volumes about the content of the movie which has no acclaimed actors but new bunch of talent which entertains you to the core :)

The story revolves around three characters they are friends and flatmates - Vikrant/Choudhary(Raayo Bakhirta - Dude where were you hiding all these while,he is one sexy guy to watch out for),Nishant(Divyendu Sharma) and Rajat/Rajjo(Karthikeya Tiwari) and then they fall in love with three manipulative horrible bitches in the skin of cool babes.

These kind of girls/women are the worst kind who knows only how to use people to their advantage and yes guys the most with their so called sex appeal.

There is this particular scene where one of the girl makes her boyfriend pay the spa bill under the pretension

Loved the scene where the guy leaves her horrendous bitch of a girlfriend - there was a round of applause in the theater and yes I clapped too :)

Guys/Men are going to love this movie and honestly I did too :)

Watch it if you still haven't...

Bheja Fry 2 - Of course not better than part 1 but still a decent watch for sure

Edit
Bheja Fry 2 - Of course not better than part 1 but still a decent watch for sure

I was definitely looking forward to this having loved the first part and love Vinay Pathak the actor but Sagar Bellary the director has failed for sure.

When it comes to attempting original story and script, bollywood directors always seem to fail miserably except for the handful few and really handful few and thats really a shame I would say for such a big country.

Bheja Fry 1 was direct lift of the French movie and Sagar Bellary got the core theme for the humor from the french movie which he nicely adapted to Indian situations so it was extremely well accepted by the public but in Bheja Fry 2 he tried to attempt his own original ideas( if this was his original ) and it didn't work but having said that I would only recommend this movie for the great actor - Vinay Pathak and yes Kay Kay is good too..

I can't believe our Bollywood Directors can't come up with great original ideas of their own it is quite shocking for sure and very disappointing no I am not talking about this movie but the trend in general among the Bollywood Directors..

Shaitan - Brilliant movie ...not to be missed at any cost...and of course its not meant for kids (below 18)

Shaitan tells us the story of five youngsters based in Mumbai who lead erratic irresponsible reckless lives.Amy [Kalki], Dash [Gulshan], KC [Shiv], Zubin [Neil] and Tanya [Kirti] -- young, intelligent, good looking and 'uber cool with no hang ups whatsoever and no boundaries, excitement is what they seek till a moment changes everything. A horrendous accident and their actions to cover up lead them through a series of incidents across the roads, streets and bylanes of Mumbai and into the dark side that lurks within all of us.

And yes giving this movie the extra edge there is Inspector Mathur [Rajeev Khandelwal], entrusted with the task of chasing these youngsters down, exposes the underbelly of the police system and crime while facing his inner demon(shaitan) as well

Sometimes I wonder and even wondered during my college how a certain section of youth waste their parents money without even giving a second blink and I think such people caught committing heinous crimes should be severely punished without any sort of sympathy be it a boy or a girl but unfortunately parents being parents become overprotective and does not allow the law to do its own course of duty and the power of money lets these criminals get away with their crime.

I am glad this movie showed no sympathy towards such mislead youth and hit the nails where its supposed to be hit.

Watching this movie is an experience as this is one of a kind and really sets you thinking and yes not a dull moment in this movie during the duration of 2 hour 7 minutes.

Coming to performances - Rajeev Khandelwal, playing a cop who's fighting his inner demons, nails the role, giving a tight, focused performance he should be doing more and more movies not that jerk Abishek Bacchan. Kalki is excellent. . Neil Bhoopalam is fantastic why are these guys seen in movies so rarely. Shiv Pandit is good . Kirti Kulhari is superb . Gulshan Deviah is top notch. The peculiar behavior comes across very well in several sequences. Rajat Barmecha appears in an interesting cameo and has brief but a very important contribution towards this movie.Pavan Malhotra is awesome. Rajit Kapur is good. Nikhil Chinnappa I though was too good. Rukhsar was apt. Rajkumar Yadav gives yet another great performance.

I don't remember any commercial successful Hindi film where I have praised so many actor/actress's performance in the same breath..

Don't miss this one.....

West Is West - Sequel to 1999 hit East is East is a great mix of emotion and comedy..Worth A Watch

I remember having a good laugh when I had watched 'East is East' in 2000 and after a decade the sequel comes with loads of fun yes and equal amount of emotions too.

Somewhere the message of 'Make peace with your past so it won't destroy your present' comes out very well in this movie with Om Puri's character visiting Pakistan and facing the demons of his past i.e. his wife and three daughters whom he had left 30 years ago to make a life in England and married an English woman there and set up another family there but somewhere guilt killed him so in the purview of getting his youngest son back in track he sets to Pakistan only to amend all the wrong doings and lessen the pain he had caused many years back.

And finally after a humorous incident and emotional turmoil alls well that ends well.

Be it Om Puri or Ila Arun or Lind Bassett or Vijay Raaz or any other actor in this movie everyone has excelled in this movie in terms of performances and the rustic country side of Pakistan shot in Punjab is beautifully portrayed.

Worth a watch for sure...if not in the big screen you can get the DVD

X-Men: First Class - Truly First Class ...This one has superceded all the X-Men series made earlier..A Must Watch

This movie starts before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants.

The movie is the best example how the 5th installment and the 5th part can outshine the last 4 movies of the X-Men series...this one is simply mind blowing I loved it loved every bit of it.

This is an exceptional "flashback" look that links the X-Men series of movies that have released earlier so you can see this one and start watching the rest of the X-Men series and that probably would give you a better understanding.

Loved the performance by the entire cast and the cinematography is simply brilliant..

I think this is undoubtedly the best movie released for this year so far ...

Don't miss this one at any cost...

Hanna - fast paced real smart thriller with damn interesting twists and turns..worth a watch for sure...

Its one of those amazing movies where you go expecting a smart sleek thriller and then it surprises you with these really interesting twists and turns and keeps you on your toes.

Hanna as the name suggests is a story of this amazing and special girl with a name that of the title of the movie.Saoirse Ronan portraying the title has done an amazing job of the girl with special abilities and born to complete a special mission in this world she is just getting better and better with every movie ...loved her in 'The Way Back' released last year.

Cate Blanchett was fantastic as the ruthless agent ...not sure if this movie would be considered one of Eric Bana's best after his brilliant 'Munich' or even the memorable ones like'The Other Boleyn Girl' or 'Hulk' yes he looks great for sure.

Visually the movie is absolutely stunning..Not letting the story out watch it and enjoy the experience.
