Send Me No Flowers - Classic Romantic comedy

Three is definitely company and the lovely combination of Doris Day,Rock Hudson and Tony Randall just proves the same in this movie.

I remember a colleague of mine suggesting this movie to watch sometime back and I have been searching the same and by stroke of luck managed to get this one and I am very thankful to her for the suggestion it definitely made my evening, romantic comedies should put a smile in your by the end of it and have much more than one reason to have a good laugh during the movie and this movie completely lived up to that expectation.

Doris Day was in her early forties and she was still the main heroine and had an author backed role and this movie belongs to the generation of 1960s and here(India/Bollywood) we try to retire the heroines once they are in their 30s and that is such a shame...

Coming back to the story as much as the trio of Doris,Rock and Tony works this is not a love triangle for sure but this is about a person who is a hypochondriac and thinks he's about to die of course that was a far stretched imagination of his mind and makes those last minute plans for his wife which when she discovers she misunderstands and yes finally of course the truth comes out and all is well when it ends well.

This is a fabulous romantic comedy I completely loved it .They don't make these kinds anymore...sheer magic.
