Patiala House - Yes Akshay Kumar is back in form but the first half sucks and the subject is kind of outdated...

In today's age and time when the world is a global village the subject of this movie is way too outdated maybe 30 years back this same subject would have been revolutionizing but not now for sure.

So here's an outdated story where the dad(rishi kapoor) does not allow his son(akshay kumar) to pursue his career in cricket due to his whimsical fancies and the son succumbs and becomes a silent sufferer till some talkative attractive babe(anushka sharma) shakes him up after 17 years again to pursue his dream and do what he is born for and after some family drama and hide n seek stupid game he does achieve and there is peace of course with everyone trying to ride over that one person's dare and achieving there goals as well.

Yes its better late than never but come on you don't sit in a supermarket store for 17 years when your dreams are damn clear you fight for it and chase it and show the world which includes your parents what you are capable of or forget the world just show it to yourself your best abilities and when you are truly happy the people around you are happy too and that is the universal truth.

The first half of the movie is really boring with the proceedings of the movie going really nowhere except for the spunk of anushka sharma's character like the way she pushes akshay kumars timid character ,the second half of the movie is definitely better and the proceedings kind of hold your interest yes there is emotional drama and there are heartwarming scenes as well but I sincerely doubt if this movie will do well though for Akshay's sake i hope it does.

Performance wise I loved Rishi Kapoor and Akshay Kumar - he should do acting of these sorts more...Anushka Sharma was of course was a pleasure to watch,Dimple did not have much to do,like Tinu Anand in his brief role.

Honestly i would say you can wait for this one in the TV/DVD to come out....
