Frozen - The best animated movie of 2013 .. a must watch :)
As much as I had expected this one turned out to be one endearing fairy tale which keeps you engrossed and asking for more :)
For me this is the best animated movie of 2013 and the winner hands down both in terms of animation and a heartwarming story.
Loved the fact that Disney has portrayed both the girls as strong characters who are ready to take on this world for the things/relationships that matters the most to them and that is what is life is all about .. seek what you believe in and with complete faith :)
When life gives you an opportunity to experience something fantastic don't let it go ..cease the opportunity meaning book the tickets right and do not miss the opportunity to watch this awesome movie :)
Never let the inner child die in you and let it remain alive always till you are alive and remain ageless :)
You will miss something really good if you miss this movie and of course your kids will love it too :)
Recommended recommended I am planning to go for a 2nd round :)
Delivery Man - Heartwarming story
Delivery Man - Whoever thought 2012 release Hindi movie 'Vicky Donor' was Bollywood's original idea is wrong actually it is heavily inspired by 2011 release Canadian movie 'Starbuck' of course with its bollywood twists.
I will definitely give 'Delivery Man' much more points than 'Vicky Donor' no not because it comes from Hollywood but because they have openly admitted and given the due credit for original screenplay to "Starbuck" unlike the makers of 'Vicky Donor'.
Coming back to Delivery Man its a real sweet story of a lovable guy David (Vince Vaughn ) and his journey of self discovery when he figures out he is father of 533 children thanks to his sperm donation activity during his early twenties and that is some potency :)
Loved the way the character played by Vince Vaughn starts interacting with kids who wanted to know their real biological father was.
Each interaction leads a self discovery and shows the best aspect of human relationship.
I actually had gone with an expectation of watching a nice fun filled movie but was pleasantly surprised to find a really nice heartwarming, endearing story with real good performances and good dose of humor of course :)
Loved this feel good movie every bit and strongly recommend it :)
This weekend both the English movie releases are just totally worth a visit to the theater and worth every penny of it
And I am glad I decided to give a miss to Bullet Raja ;)

Captain Phillips - Not to be missed
This is what you call an action adventure movie without a fraction second of distraction this one is an outright brilliant movie.
Based on true incident experience by Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years, this action adventure movie proves yet again survival is everything, unarmed yet fighting till the end.
Tom Hanks playing the role of Captain Richard Philips is simply fabulous ,even the real life Captain Richard Philips would be proud of this sincere performance.
Captain Richard Philips faced the biggest challenge of his life with great dose of courage, calmness and intelligence put together and the rest was history, an example which we all could learn from, well this is life and one never knows what one has in store, one can only imagine..
Just when you would have thought Tom Hanks has given his best performance bang he comes in a movie and always gives us a reason to say this was his best.
Tom Hanks surely deserves a nomination at Oscars next year for this one.
Looking at the tragic circumstances of the guys who become pirates in Somalia one feels bad too but surely that does not take away the danger that they cause.
The actors enacting the role of Somalian Pirates must say did a fantastic job specially the actor - Barkhad Abdi playing the role of Muse.
Brilliant cinematography and this one has got to be Director Paul Greengrass's best movie after The Bourne Series..
A must watch from every aspect and a reason to visit the theater should be so totally worth it for this one..
Recommended ..don't miss it...Have a great weekend.

Mishawr Rohoshyo - Fantastic Thriller
If you have enjoyed watching the Feluda series then you are bound to enjoy this all the more.
This one is director Srijit Mukherji's 4th movie and a really interesting one at that, to be fair all his movies have been fantastic so far, every time a new subject and a better movie, he is person with loads of talent and surely a gift to the world of cinema ..we are blessed :)
Based on the story by noted writer Sunil Gangopadhyay this is adventure thriller with Prosenjit Chatterjee playing the main protagonist (Kakababu) delivers yet another fabulous performance.
Every actor has done a great job and so well chosen be it Rajit Kapoor,Devdhaan Bhowmick,Indraneil Sengupta (he is superb),Rajesh Sharma,Swastika Mukherjee,Neel Mukherjee ,Tridha Chowdhury.
The movie is extremely well shot,I was really immersed couldn't take my eyes off for once,Egypt never looked so beautiful.
I am not letting the story out much lest I spoil the fun of watching for you all :)
Impressive soundtrack ,very catchy, something which you would want to hear again.
It's rare to see such good cinemas coming our way these days and surely this one is not be missed.
Don't let not knowing Bengali be a barrier in watching this gem of a movie as it has English Subtitles :)
Book your tickets now :) Recommended :)
Have A Fantastic Long Weekend :)

About Time - Fun Romantic Comedy with bit of time travel thrown in :)
Director Richard Curtis has been associated with some of the best romantic comedies in the last two decades - Four Weddings And A Funeral','Notting Hill','Bridget Jones Diary','Love Actually' and I can just watch them over and over again without getting bored ever.
So was eagerly waiting to watch his latest 'About Time' and must say I was pleased and felt the wait was totally worth it.
A fun filled love story with good dose of humor and less of drama and emotions just right :)
Its witty, intelligent and does fill one's heart with happiness and hope :)
Loved the time travelling bit, yes there is a touch of magic in it where Tim(Domnhall Gleeson) cannot change history when doing so but he can revisit past experiences and incidents within his own life and alter their outcomes and that is what makes the movie such a pleasant watch with an extraordinary touch of magic in it :)
Every actor in this movie has done a fabulous job - Bill Nighy,Domnhall Gleeson,Rachel McAdams,Lindsay Duncan,Lydia Wilson and rest of the cast is quite apt too.
Rachel McAdams has really grown to be a good actress specially for the romantic movies be it drama or comedy.
Its one of the best romantic comedies I have watched and enjoyed thoroughly and yes it does leave with you a good feeling :)

Gravity - A must watch :)
Exactly this is the kind of cinema which redefines the magic of cinema and rewrites the history of cinema and yet again makes the trip to darkness of movie hall so so worth it.
We are so small rather miniscule compared to the huge universe and beyond and yet our arrogance and judgmental power never fails to cross the boundaries.
I am still reeling under the mind boggling 3D effects of this movie and I am sure the experience in IMAX would be out of the world.
Brilliant job by director Alfonso CuarĂ³n Orozco he has given a piece of cinema which will be etched in our memory for a long long time.
For once the subject, the special effects stands much much above the presence of two super actors George Clooney and Sandra Bullock , yes their presence is good but the real stars of the movie is are the special effects and the Universe itself.
Even if Science Fiction is not your favorite genre please do watch it for the experience, its one of a kind and not to be missed for sure.
Absolutely recommended :)

The Internship - Fun,Entertaining,Feel Good Movie :)
And the dark horse wins the race yes it is predictable but nevertheless enjoyed this movie immensely :). A feel good movie a movie which inspires you to be yourself no matter what instead of getting judgmental is my kinda movie :) .
So if people think you are weird don't bother just carry on you are best the way as you are until and unless one is a serial killer/rapist/terrorist etc. :)
I know many of you find my Christmas countdown and wishing the celebrities weird but I am not going to stop it ever and will continue to do so as I just love doing it :)
Coming back to the movie I really thought the movie was fun, encouraging and had a nice feel good factor to it which leaves a very good taste behind and a smile on your face :)
Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn have worked together in 2005 release 'Wedding Crashers' it was great fun them then and so was it now,the chemistry between them is super.
Rest of the cast has done a commendable job too and I can see Indians slowly becoming a part of the Hollywood culture which is a good thing.
It was great fun to see the colorful Google campus would love to visit that place someday :)
An entertaining, fun filled movie ..recommended for sure :)

Runner Runner - DVD Watch or in a boring weekday evening :)
This one is quite a predictable movie about online poker game and its consequences, what keeps it going is the slick treatment and the presence of Ben Afleck and Justin Timberlake and the beautiful locales of Costa Rica.
Gemma Arterton looks great but acting wise she is strictly ok.
Its not a bad movie but nothing remarkable about it.
DVD watch should be ok for Ben Afleck's sake.
Its a 91 minutes movie so even a trip to the theater is fine but just avoid the weekend as its not worth the money we pay during weekend movie shows.
So a weekday evening if you have nothing better to do you could go for this one :)

BESHARAM - Fun ride totally shameless to the core and yes with great performances :)
The trailer made it very clear this one is ought to be a masala time pass fare and it did keep its word to the hilt :)
The movie does have a bit of toilet humor which may or may not go with the audience, some might like it and some might not.
Surely this movie is much much better than Chennai Express if that mindless movie can be a big hit these one definitely deserves more.
Ranbit Kapoor surely is a rock star, give him any character and he is sheer magic to watch and this one is another feather in his cap, the guy is simply effortless , such a joy to watch him, whether its the corny lines he delivers or the flashy clothes he wears he is simply brilliant.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor the other two actors who really shine are his parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, they were simply fabulous.
Pallavi Sharda is quite good and for a newcomer she has done a good job,I won't say her pairing with Ranbir was outstanding but it wasn't bad either but the movie is not really a love story so its ok.
The music was ok wish they had lesser songs, that would have helped to shorten the length of the movie.
Its Ranbir trying his hands out in a masala movie and has done a wonderful job at it.
2nd October 2009 was the release date of 'Wake Up Sid' which launched him as this cool dude classy guy, four years later he takes up a role of a masala entertainer , have to give it to him for his experimentation with acting.
Cut the masala bit watch this entertainer for the Super Actor Ranbir Kapoor and of course Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
Hope it beats the record of Chennai Express in terms of business :)

Prisoners - Brilliant ...Masterpiece of a thriller
This is what you call a masterpiece of a suspense movie, one word brilliant.
Despite of the length of the movie being two and half hours not for once does it let down in terms of suspense and thrilling moments.
Definitely one of the seating on the edge kind of movie and a superb one at that with fantastic performances from every actor.
The despair, the hope, the attitude of not giving up till the final goal is achieved is portrayed extremely well in this movie and surely will be etched in your memory.
Hugh Jackman as the desperate father in anguish is simply mind blowing and yes even with his beard he looks hot :)
Jake Gyllenhaal as the unassuming detective who is bound to solve the mystery gives another great performance.
Rest of the cast which comprises of Terrence Howard,Maria Bello,Viola Davis,Paul Dano,Melissa Leo are simply fabulous.
I am limiting myself in writing more about the story just in case I drop the clue and that would kill the suspense.
So for this weekend this one is definitely the best release and one of the best suspense thrillers I have seen in a long time.
Absolutely Recommended :) Have A Great Weekend :)

The Lunchbox - Outright Brilliant
The Lunchbox - An absolute gem of a movie add to that a great single screen theatre and company of good friends along with it , I surely couldn't have asked for a better movie watching experience
Coming back to movie now it's a simple sweet story extremely well told with some amazing performances from Irfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui undoubtedly they are some of the best actors we have today and that makes us fortunate
Nimrat Kaur must say was natural to the core and again effortless, the voice of the upstairs Aunty by Bharati Achrekar was superb.
Loved the simple joys and regular incidents of our lives portrayed so beautifully which leaves a smile and lot of thoughts to ponder about
Loved the scenes of dabbawalas every Mumbaikar I am sure can identify with it
Life is what you sow you reap, you smile and the world will smile well most of the time.
Awesome work by Director Ritesh Batra I am sure his best yet to come :)
I am glad I am leaving Mumbai with a beautiful feeling ,of course to come back again
Btw the puffs at Sterling theatre is awesome much better than any of snacks available at Inox and must say the theater is very well maintained
Of course recommended there is no way you can miss this brilliant movie
Awesome awesome
The Family (Malavita) - Enjoyable Fare
The presence of Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer was good enough to go and watch this movie.
Robert De Niro is the Mafia boss who along with his family is transported to a not so happening town in France under the witness program, remember 2009 release 'Did You Hear About the Morgans? ' well that one had the charm of Hugh Grant and this one has the ever charming Robert De Niro and man does he still look Suave and yes the super hot Michelle Pfeiffer oh yes she still has what it takes apart from her good acting skills as well:)
The pairing of Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer is something different yet quite appealing, their chemistry in an unusual manner does work quite well.
Dianna Agron playing their daughter has done a very good job, loved the scene where she beats the shit out of a jerk of a guy who tries to act fresh with her :)
Even at the risk of sounding a bit violent I really think boys/men who behave in an odd manner with women and tries to get close to women physically against the wishes of the women should be really beaten black and blue ,a lesson they should remember for the rest of their life ,not to ever behave with any woman in a cheap way.
John D'Leo as the son is naughty yet adorable :)
Tommy Lee Jones as the CIA Agent is quite likeable.
Has good dose of humor which is bound to make you laugh every now and then.
I thought this was a fun movie with good action towards the end.
If you are looking for something different go for this one..Recommended

We're The Millers - Hilarious :)
Hilarious actually non stop laughter couldn't have been a better start to the Friday evening.
Family is not always blood and the adage is proved right in this movie in its own dysfunctional and comical way.
If left to the Indian Moral Police and Indian Culture caretakers the movie would have been full of beep beep and beep beep sounds so rest assured if you are allergic to those kind of words you are not going to enjoy this movie.
But somewhere there is something very lovable about this movie , with all the madness there also lies a story of love, warmth, friendship.
Jennifer Aniston is simply cool and she is just wow as the stripper.
Jason Sudekis has done a good job and so has Emma Roberts and Will Poulter
Do wait till the credits roll towards the end it does leave a smile behind apart from hilarious 1hr45mts of the movie
Overall a complete fun ride and I enjoyed it thoroughly Recommended :)
Shuddh Desi Romance – A Fresh Whiff Of Air :)
The two famous questions which we all Indians ask without for even once thinking whether it’s appropriate to ask or not are as follows:
1) So when are you getting married ? Whatever answer you chose to give to that rest assured you will get a barrage of free unwanted advices from these over concerned well wishers like:
- Please do something you are running out of time
- Come on you can’t be so choosy
- You must be very stubborn
- Lower your expectations
- You still did not manage to catch hold of anyone
2) (And if you happen to be married) So when are you guys planning a family /having children? Oh yes the advices to that are also humongous:
- We know of this really good doctor we will pass on the details to you ( I have heard this from my married friends)
- Some of them go too far to share their bedroom secrets as well ;) (Incredible I tell you all these info I have got courtesy my married friends :))
It time we realize just like for the ammunition industry to make profit and sustain some unwanted bloodshed in the name of war are required and the same also holds true the business of many match making organizations, the Florists, the Lehengamakers of Karol Bagh and the many other business which runs due to ‘Marriages’.
But having said the above yes the ammunition is needed to safeguard any nation and the marriage for companionship should happen only when two individuals want to be together but not to please people who have minute or no contribution in one’s life or please anyone for that matter.
While I was watching the movie the above mentioned thoughts were crossing my mind almost all the time :)
This movie does not follow the usual format of a Bollywood romantic but kind of contradicts and promotes live in relationship in a very own sweet desi way , the last movie on live in relationship was 2005 release ‘Salaam Namaste’ but then that was based in Australia and then this one is set in our Incredible India full of double standards and in Jaipur –Rajasthan so for that it is definitely a bold step.
The story is about three young people and their experiment with relationships and not exactly following the society’s prescribed syllabus .The depiction of relationship of today’s generation is quite well captured.
I never understood one thing why is marriage connected to the final settlement of life :) Yes everyone is looking for companionship so why put a timeline to it and so many rules and regulations to it specially when those individuals are not causing any sort of harm to the society or anyone for that matter.
Many might find this movie of sluggish pace but because the narrative format is quite different I thought it was good something unusual isn’t movie making also an experimentation..
Sushant Singh Rajput is really good but in few scenes I felt he was just walking through or maybe his counterparts were just quite above the notch, but one thing portrays quite well and that is he is like this puppy who is running around for love :) one small signal from the opposite sex and there he goes running behind his true love :)
Parineeti Chopra is superb as this carefree bindaas girl and I hope in her next movie she gets out of her comfort zone and experiments with a different kind of character.
Vaani Kapoor is drop dead gorgeous but her character kind of puzzled me but then it takes all sorts to make this world go round ;)
Rishi Kapoor like an excellent wine is only getting better with age :)
BTW if you are confused on the D-Day of your life visit the bathroom just before you say ‘I Do’ and you will get the right answer :).
This movie definitely has a fresh approach and a nice message which may or may be not liked given the subject of live in and the attitude towards live in relationships most of the people have in this country.
But the Friday collections of this movie are pretty positive and maybe it’s an indication times are changing :)
Recommended :)
Satyagraha - Worth A Watch specially for AB Senior :)
Not sure why I had thought the presence of songs would dilute the seriousness of the subject of the movie and I am glad my thoughts were proved wrong.
Scams and corruption unfortunately have become a part of our lives, a harsh reality which we deal with on a regular basis and the movie showcases this problem/disease extremely well.
We are so tempted to always take the short cut route that altogether we miss out on the big picture and get totally absorbed in our shelved lives without realizing much about the repercussions that each of our steps would have in this society.
Prakash Jha's last release though a well made movie had got the plot mishmash post interval and was happy he did not do the same with this movie.
Of course the plot is inspired from the movement of Anna Hazare there is no denial to that absolutely.
Amitabh Bacchan - there never will be another one like him, he is definitely is India's pride.
The scene when he breaks down when he realizes his son was killed surely going to turn your eyes moist..
Ajay Devgan - Give this guy an intense role and he will never disappoint, yes he does a good job...great to see him in this kind of role instead of disaster like 'Himmatwala'
Kareena Kapoor Khan - Post 'Talaash' this is another good performance from her and as always she looks fab.
Arjun Rampal - Ya he looks yes he can emote/act but for this particular role he didn't quite fit and his accent was too metro sexual , no I am not complaining I like him in anyway and always will watch his movies
Manoj Bajpayee- Wow what an awesome portrayal of vicious and sadistic character core, flaunting the evil streak to the optimum. Here's another power-packed performance by this splendid actor.
Amrita Rao - Something very likeable about her,an absolute pleasure to watch.
All the other character actors too have done a great job be it Indraneil Sengupta, Vipin Sharma , Manoj Kolhatkar, Shireesh Sharma, Ajay Trehan or Girish Sahdev.
This one is a thought provoking movie and absolutely recommended.
All in all August 2013 had good Hindi movie releases except for Once upon a time in Mumbai dobara yes this was the worst Hindi movie I have watched in the recent times...
Please do watch 'Satyagraha' for a story well told, for great performances and of course of course for Amitabh Bachhan :)

Madras Cafe - Good Political Thriller, worth a watch
Its time to get off the Chennai Express and get into Madras Cafe,I so knew it this would turn out much better than the last two Hindi movie releases of this month.
A good engaging story is always more welcome than the mad tamashas(masala hindi movies) we watch in the name of entertainment.
The violent history of the Sri Lankan civil war and Rajiv Gandhi's tragic assassination in 1991 are quite well etched in our memories and the movie to a large extent has captured the essence quite well.
The thrill element of this movie is well maintained but yes they could have surely done it more gripping job of it.
A war movie can never be a happy one so if you thinking you are going for a movie to whistle, clap and cheer at cheesy lines then this one is not for you.
John Abraham looks great as always and did a reasonably ok job, well as an actor there is only that much he can do ,nonetheless not disappointing.
Nargis Fakhri as the British Journalist fits the role quite well , she has done with lot of conviction and speaks English throughout the movie which was realistic but John always speaking to her in Hindi wasn't :)
Prakash Belawade was fantastic as John's associate, the way he always soaking himself in alcohol to overcome his compromise is something to watch out for.
It was good to see our favorite Quiz Master- Siddhartha Basu :)
Sanjay Gurbaxani as the former Prime Minister is apt.
Kannan Arunachalam as Shri is perfect, remember the strict trainer in 'Fauji'
Rashi Khanna playing the role of John's wife comes across as a very sweet girl.
The cinematography by Kamaljeet Negi is brilliant.
Fact of life - the heroes in real life are always unsung, sizes smaller than life but yet their impact in our lives is huge and we would never be able to thanks them enough.
The best part of this film is that the film doesn't take sides. If it is against anything it is the culture of violence.
Overall a good political thriller, recommended for sure.
Don't miss it, good Hindi movies rarely happen these days :)

Chennai Express - one word -disappointing
I am taking out the diehard SRK fan in me and writing what I felt exactly.
From 2009 to 2012 it was Salman Khan's job to come up with trashy movies every Eid and this year he seems to have passed on the baton to SRK unfortunately
SRK has always chosen movies with some sort of storyline be it 'My Name is Khan','Chak De India','Veer- Zaara','Swades','Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna','Don' even 'Main Hoo Na' and 'Om Shanti Om' had some story in place.
I think after director Rohit Shetty got SRK and Deepika together he decided to drop writing the story and just take ideas from here and there read DDLJ in that and have fun which I am sure he did but then when you decide to price the ticket more expensive than regular price you bloody well deliver some entertainment and that entertainment does not mean picking up one region and making fun of it- of the people, of the culture get a life dude and coming up with jokes which is in real poor light and SRK too is to be blamed to promote this kind of idiotic stuff though I am a huge fan of him but still what is wrong is wrong which includes him promoting fair and handsome creme in a nation which swears by the fair complexion and discriminates its people based on the color of the skin, yes we are racists.
I was mentally prepared to watch a complete mindless, illogical cinema but this was just too much to take, agree for a potboiler kinda movie one has to keep the brain aside but it has to be entertaining right not to question the logic and it fails there for sure in the first half.
Second half is relatively ok the songs and pleasant presence of Deepika Padukone kinda make up for it and yes SRK does charm you as always and yes I will admit he looks great much better than he did in his last few movies much fresh and much younger.
I thought the 'Thalaiva' song towards the end was quite entertaining and it was a nice way to end.
Wish they had made this one entertaining one instead of a mockery show.
Bollywood directors you need to brush your knowledge about your country, please realize apart from entertaining you also have a social responsibility towards the audience and misleading this way is really harmful - from when did the river in Goa meet at Rameshwaram..seriously ???
Bollywood has 3rd class habit of stereotyping regions in a poor light and this movie is one such example
And you got to teach pronounce the names in the right way and not make fun of it .
Looks like Bollywood has only one aim except for few exceptions and that is to make movies that will churn 100 crores at any cost.
Bollywood of today's time seems pretty sad they really have a long way to go they can learn from the directors of the regions which they make fun about.
Best Example - Mani Ratnam's 2007 release 'Guru' which captured the essence of Gujratis beautifully instead of making fun of them or his Roja which captured the essence of Kashmir so beautifully.
Please watch 'Ship Of Theseus' if you still haven't , that's what good cinema is about.

The Wolverine - Fun Watch
Lech Drool Lech Drool Lech Drool Lech Drool and oh yes wish there was more of him just couldn't take my eyes off from Hugh Jackman even for a fraction of second
This is a super hero movie so anyways any sort of logic does not apply here what matters are the special effects and an interesting storyline and that it had in ample specially the special effects , they were mind blowing to say the least.
The Japanese actress Tao Okamoto is really pretty and did a decent job.
Rila Fukushima in the character of Yukio did a good job as well.
Rest of the cast did a good job as well but then when there is Hugh Jackman I wasn't really bothered about the rest of the men in the movie
A Thing Of Beauty Is A Joy Forever and Hugh Jackman is sure set example of that
And what awesome stunts totally breathtaking specially the one on top of the bullet train..
Totally enjoyable ride ..take your ride at the earliest and yes please wait till the credits roll by otherwise you will miss out something interesting ..now go figure :)
Ship Of Theseus -
I am thankful to my friend for recommending this one, had I not opted to see this one I would have surely missed a gem of a movie and this beautiful movie only made my already beautiful weekend a little bit more beautiful albeit magical
All the three stories are beautifully woven nope its not interwoven but nevertheless the conclusion does put everything together and is bound to leave you speechless with of course a positive feeling filled with hope, kindness and a connect, isn't this why we are supposed to be human beings..
Ultimately there is nothing really right or wrong in life but every person's perspectives and outlook towards life which makes the ultimate difference.
Every story is moving yet not being overtly emotional and performances which makes you wonder why these real actors are not cast more often...you could just so relate to them..
While watching the movie you will become a little more thankful with all the wonderful things you have been bestowed upon, the sheer fact that we can see, hear, smell, walk around is in itself a big gift but of course we have taken it for granted..
i could feel the goosebumps while watching this one and it does have its share of light moments as well which are immensely enjoyable.
Every actor did a brilliant job - Aida El-Kashef ,Sohum Shah ( he is quite the dude ,Neeraj Kabi ,Vinay Shukla,Sameer Khurana,Amba Sanyal and everyone in the rest of the cast was great as well,my bad I don't know their names.
Its really important to listen to one's heart garnished with loads of hope, belief, faith and love of course.
Even if you are fan of out and out commercial movies I would still suggest you give this one a try as its worth it completely a paisa vasool in the true sense your soul will feel good too.
If I got my dose of eye tonic from 'The Wolverine' must say this one left me with a smile on my heart and that is a good start to the week
Life is all about hope, kindness and a connection with one another and would be great if we could throw away our judgmental nature
Yes yes I loved the movie completely :) Don't miss it :)

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag - Run and watch it now :)
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag - Whether the story of Flying Sikh shown in this movie is true or not only one person has all the answers to it and that is the Flying Sikh himself ,and if he and his family members has not objected to this but being supportive about this project then I guess it is close to reality ,of course with its share of cinematic liberties :)
Milkha Singh is our national treasure and a biopic on him can only generate interest and add the presence of Farhan Akhtar the interest only gets further enhanced.
No one among today's actors available in the Hindi Film industry could have portrayed a better Milkha Singh other than Farhan Akhtar his chiseled, athletic physique, the hair, the body language ,the overall awesome effort to portray Milkha Singh to perfection is quite evident , must say he has done a brilliant job specially in the second half of the movie, one actor whose tears might end up making your eyes moist as well and when he runs you too would feel like saying 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' :)
But the one actor whom I wanted to give a standard ovation was Pawan Malhotra its really unfortunate that the Hindi Film industry never gave his due credit...he was simply outstanding with a coach of that sort one can only win all the battles of life...
There is Cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh too who has done a reasonably decent job.
Liked Prakash Raj too in the brief role and yes Divya Dutta too was superb.
Honestly there was absolutely no need of Sonam Kapoor and if her scenes were not there they could have finished the movie in less than hours for sure,ok even from character perspective if that character was required a real actress would have been a better choice for sure.
Jabtej Singh, as the young Milkha has done a fantastic job for sure.
Loved the shots taken in Ladakh brought back the memories of my visit there.
The scenes which i thought were outstanding:
-The scene when Farhan Akhtar breaks down while visiting his village post partition
- When Farhan Akhtar gets the Indian team blazer and comes home and puts the same blazer on his sister (Divya Dutta) and she finding her gold earrings there
- When Milkha Singh's whole unit breaks into the Fauji impromptu dance that was surely feet tapping
- All the running training scenes were superb ...everyone who runs would love it
- The Pakistan President General Ayub giving the title 'Flying Sikh'
Overall I did like the movie for sure and recommend it.
This is an uplifting movie which is bound to leave a good feeling...Watch it for Farhan Akhtar,Pawan Malhotra, for inspiration...

Ghanchakkar - Interesting Watch :)
Not sure who got paid lesser this time TOI or Taran Adarsh while writing the review of this movie :)
This is not your run of the mill Hindi cinema it is actually a pretty interesting thriller ,you can never ever guess where the stolen money was hidden ,but somehow the one factor which is the biggest disadvantage is the length of the movie, a movie of this sort should wrap up 1 hr 40 mts or at the most 2hrs.
As the movie is dealing with few characters and focused on one subject so it tends to get monotonous at times due to the long duration of the movie.
Emran Hashmi was quite good,Vidya Balan was good for sure but I will not call this her best performance.
Both Rajesh Sharma and Namit Das have done a splendid job.
So overall i did enjoy the movie but sometimes found it tedious but who knows you might just end up liking it all :)

Raanjhanaa - Good movie worth a watch
Raanjhanaa - A well made movie with real good performances and a good storyline and awesome music by AR Rahman so worth a watch for sure.
Liked it more for the simplicity of Dhanush and something in the name of acting by Sonam Kapoor I think this is the first time ever I liked her on screen.
There is a certain twist in the story which really took me by surprise , completely unexpected.
Dhanush is simply superb I never thought he would be this good and he really carries the movie on his shoulders and has done a fantastic job of it,loved his dedication for his beloved ..if only we can get that lucky :)
Sonam Kapoor looks simple and sweet and done a reasonably good job and liked her non-make up look very much.
Abhay Deol is as always impressive :)
Rest of the cast has done an awesome job as well.Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is remarkable as Dhanush's friend and yes Swara Bhaskar too has done a fabulous job.
Kudos to director Aanand Rai to come up with a complete Desi storyline.
Recommended for sure.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani - Wholesome Entertainer Not To Be Missed :)
Now this is what I call an entertaining movie to the core just the things that you want to see to lit up your day and minds :)
Life is actually a series of moments which makes it worthwhile and this movie does a brilliant job of capturing them very well.
Loved the sunset scene in Udaipur where Naina(Deepika Padukone) tells Bunny(Ranbir Kapoor) one can't accomplish everything one planned in life but can surely make the most of what is available and live life to the fullest that was my favorite scene among many others.
The other scene which is etched in my mind is the way Ranbir proposes Deepika most unexpected and yes so sweet and life is all about that :)
And Ranbir And Deepika are surely in love with each other ,the natural chemistry and the love in their eyes and body language is so so obvious and yes they look absolutely great together totally made for each other couple :)
Ranbir Kapoor is the best thing that has happened to the Hindi Film Industry in the recent past , this guy is a true blue rock star in every possible way - looks, charm, acting ..well you name it and he has it :)
Deepika Padukone not only is a stunner but a good actress too , she is superb in this one totally loved her character..
Aditya Roy Kapoor is another guy to watch out for,he is quite good.
Kalki Koechlin is a natural and her character is quite likeable.
Farooq Shaiqh was excellent as Ranbir Kapoor's father, the scenes between them are superb.
Tanvi Azmi and Dolly Ahluwalia are good in their respective roles.
Poorna Jagannnathan after Delhi Belly thought would pick up something more significant but then she gets to hug Ranbir Kapoor in this one so that is good enough a reason I guess ;)
Kunal Roy Kapoor is nice thought his character was adorable.
Wondering why Rana Dagubatti would take up that kind of cameo(not more than 30 seconds - 45 seconds ) ?? Guess to stand beside Deepika Padukone ;)
Music is feet tapping and soothing and awesome cinematography by V. Manikandan.
Ayan Mukherjee had given us 'Wake Up Sid' which was real good so is this one.
The length of the movie didn't bother me at all in fact I was enjoying it so I wouldn't have a problem had it gone for 4 hours too :)
The focus is just not the love story but also emphasizes about friendship and I am glad I saw this movie with two of my dear friends :)
Life is a beautiful journey and the addition of friends and loved ones makes it all the special :)
There's more to life than conquering peaks and achieving targets. Sharing the precious moments with your loved one is what matters eventually...right :)
I loved the movie and yes I plan to watch it again very soon :)

Don't miss this at any cost :)

Fast & Furious 6 - Thrilling to the core totally worth a watch in the big screen :)
Now this is what you call an an action packed thriller not a moment of boredom and with some good humor thrown in.
Director Justin Lin has only made it better from the last one of this series both in terms of the thrilling moments and some awesome stunts.
Though all the guys are complete dudes and fun to watch , my favorite is one that of Paul Walker
The chase sequences are completely wow jaw dropping is the right word
If thriller, action and dudes are what you are looking for then definitely don't miss this one.
Recommended and yes I can vouch this is the best release this weekend
Can't wait for Fast & Furious 7 and that one has Jason Statham too.
Aurangzeb - Gripping Tale
The famous dictum 'Kingship sees no Kinship' holds completely true for this well made thriller and some brilliant performances this movie is completely worth a watch.
If I have to rate the performances undoubtedly the best were Prithvi ( love this guy he was the sole reason I watched 'Aiyyaa' ),Rishi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor .
Deepti Naval,Amrita Singh , Tanvi Azmi,Swara Bhaskar(this girl has got immense potential given the right opportunity she was the best part about the movie 'Tanu Weds Manu') were quite good in their small but important roles.
It was good to see Jackie Shroff act in a decent movie after a long time..
Salma Agha's daughter Sasha Agha is as lifeless as her mother used to be
Kiron Kher's son Sikander Kher too was no great shakes.
Overall a well made movie worth a watch.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist - Good cinema worth a watch
Based on the novel by Mohsin Ahmed this one is much deeper than just another 9/11 story ,I have not read the book but can vouch for this movie being quite good for sure.
If only all of us a were a bit more tolerant, a non racist this world would have been a much better place for sure but we are not so the world will remain to be in a mess unfortunately and all the more as it is run by us the so called humans.
I was constantly thinking what would I do if was in the place of the character-Changez..
The scene where he(Changez- Riz Ahmed ) breaks down in his apartment due loss of job and his love is among one of the best.
Riz Ahmed as the main lead has done a fantastic job I last saw him in a movie called 'Trishna' and he was just about ok in that but in this one he is outstanding.
Rest of the cast were great too be it Om Puri,Shabana Azmi,Kate Hudson,Liev Schreiber,Kiefer Sutherland.
I have always liked Mira Nair's be it 'The Namesake','Monsoon Wedding','Salaam Bombay' so was looking forward to this one and not a tad bit disappointed rather liked it very much.
When I was booking the movie tickets for this weekend and happen to book this one for the last I did wonder will I be ending this weekend with a sad one but no I was wrong this one was the best and ended with a ray of hope as well
Recommended for sure ..don't miss a good cinema .

Epic - Kids will love it :)
The Great Gatsby - Worth A Watch
Having seen Baz Luhrmann earlier movies(Australia,Moulin Rouge) I somehow felt this one is the best both in terms of story and performances and of course the glamor quotient and music bit wise as well.
Jay Gatsby's enigmatic character is extremely well played by Leonardo DiCaprio he is just superb.
Tobey Maguire was good too another performance to watch out too in this movie.
Isla Fisher and Carey Mulligan were ok.
The movie is beautiful visually must say very colorful.
Not sure if the music was so feet tapping in the 1920's but then I guess Mr.Luhrmann is entitled to some cinematic liberties :)
Overall a good story with some great performances.
Sometimes a woman can be cause of all the miseries in life :))

Gippi - Fun,Entertaining,Heartwarming :)
A real sweet feel good movie it may not win any critic's award but bound to make you smile for sure :)
This is a story of teenage girl Gurpreet aka Gippi and the feeling of insecurity, anxiety, edginess that one experiences during those years is very well captured in this film be it her character or the other kids in this movie.
Loved each time Shammi Kapoor's songs popped up :)
Riya Vij has done a good job so has the other characters but the best performance surely goes to Divya Dutta.
A movie well made by new Director Sonam Nair - funny, heartwarming, entertaining :)
I know all the Star Trek fans are going to kill me or call me mad and jhalli after what I am going to say now -'Gippi was undoubtedly the best watch this weekend :):)'
Recommended recommended recommended :)
What to do I am like this only ;)

Safe Haven - Beautiful Romantic Movie
This one is a real nice movie yes its mushy and all that with a beautiful story with some thrilling moments and the presence of Josh Duhamel only helped further :)
The climax of this movie is a pleasant surprise totally unexpected, loved every bit of this movie just what should be ordered for a Monday evening and trust me the rest of the week is bound to be good :)
And yes I am sucker of feel good movies be it romantic or drama, the fact that the movie spreads positive energy that is good enough and totally worth the time invested :)
Bombay Talkies - Four real good stories with great performances.
Karan Johar's story was something you would never expect from him keeping his previous track record of movies in mind. Rani Mukherjee was fabulous so was Ranndeep Hooda and the new kid Saqib Salim was a pleasant surprise.
Dibakar Banerjee's story was good but it gets a monotonous the saving grace was of course Nawazuddin Siddique's fantastic performance.
Zoya Akhtar's story was the sweetest one. Loved the child artiste his expressions were so so adorable.
Anurag Kashyap's story reminded of a DD telefilm I had seen during my school days, the idol worship madness captured very well.
This set of four stories is sheer good cinema capturing the essence of all the emotions we experience quite well.
Loved the last song when all the big names of Bollywood came together and also the bit where they show clippings of Hindi movies right from its inception till date.
This one is no commercial mish mash but good cinema and worth a watch for sure :)

Maach Mishti & More - A feel good movie :)
This was one enjoyable Bengali movie depicting today's Kolkata, the madness, the sweetness and the bitter bit of it ,thank God the bitter bit was less in proportion :)
This one is an out and out feel good timepass movie yet not falling into the category of masala commercial movie but a movie which makes you smile more often and situations which are pretty real :)
Thinking movies are good yes but give me a feel good movie any day :)
Why remain sad when there is always an opportunity just around the corner to be happy :)
You get this one with English subtitles go for it don't let language be a barrier :)
Recommended for sure :) And Parambrata Chatterjee is really cool :)

Goynar Baksho - A Good DVD Watch with English Subtitles of course :)
I was waiting for this one specially coming from Aparna Sen but must say this was definitely not her best movie.
Glad they had subtitles as it was difficult to understand the East Bengal dialect that was spoken during most part of the movie ,almost all the words used in this movie were unheard of till today so the English subtitles was very very helpful.
The best part of the movie was undoubtedly Moushumi Chatterjee and Konkona Sen Sharma's flawless performances and of course not to forget Shashwata Chatterjee too remember Bob the shooter from Kahaani :)
This movie is based on Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay's story 'Rashmonir Sonadana' , Sonadana means jewellery in Bengali.
I think sometimes when there are too many plots running parallely its good to read them in a book rather than the celluloid form.
The most touching bit was the awful way widows were treated in our society rather they still are in many parts of India and yes the Bengal partition was quite touchy too.
The length of the movie surely could have been trimmed by twenty minutes.
Overall not a bad movie nonetheless not Aparna Sen's best 'Mr.and Mrs.Iyer' and '36 Chowrunghee Lane' surely are the best ones we have seen from her till date :)
A Good DVD Watch with English Subtitles of course :)

Iron Man 3 - Yes its bigger and Better :)
Iron Man 3 - Yes this one is bigger, better with the right dose of humour and just makes the trip to the dark and dim theater so so worth it :)
I am not letting out the story even one bit its for you to watch it figure it out and form your opinion I personally had a great time and loved every bit of it.
And seeing the Oracle Exadata and Oracle Sun Machine even for those few seconds added only more joy to it :)
Robert Downey Junior - Wow whatever the age maybe he is a rockstar can't think of anyone who could be a better Tony Stark yes can't wait to see him in The Avengers 2 and maybe Iron Man 4 :)
Ben Kingsley - Must say a great performance he quite keeps the fun quotient alive
Guy Pearce - He was quite good as the mean guy
Rest of the cast comprising of Don Cheadle,Jon Favreu,Gwyneth Paltrow,Rebecca Hall did a good job as well in their respective roles.
The special effects were just mind blowing and watching it in IMAX format made the experience all the more enjoyable :)
A must watch by all means you don't have to get logical all the time just enjoy the experience of movie watching life is too short remember :)

Nautanki Saala - Nice contemporary new age cinema
Nice witty contemporary new age cinema with loads of fun and some great performances I specially loved the first half.
If I have to give one reason to watch this movie it would be solely for Ayushman Khurana this guys is just super totally worth the wait post his last year release 'Vicky Donor' and yes he has sung a very nice song in this movie too.
Kunal Roy Kapoor post Delhi Belly is good but a bit boring in parts.
Pooja Salvi playing the role of Nandini Patel was not good at all in terms of acting.
Gaelyn Mendonca as Chitra was really good very confident and smart and carried herself really well never gives the feeling of being a newcomer.
Evelyn Sharma was sweet wish her role was given more scope
Loved the character of Chandra played by Sanjeev Bhatt the play producer must say he is a great actor.
Good direction by Rohan Sippy loved the fact that at least he had the decency to give the due credit to the 2003 release French film APRES VOUS of which this movie is a remake thats all it takes to say a little thank you..
The music is quite pleasant too.
This one is not your usual bollywood masala movie but a nice pleasant one ..recommended for sure :)

Chashme Baddoor (2013) - A pleasant DVD watch :)
I was actually planning to give this one a miss but this one actually turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Of course the 1981 classic 'Chashme Baddoor' is class apart that one we can still watch many times and have a good laugh can't guarantee the same for this one.
So in terms of remake this has been made with the madness kept intact like that of an usual David Dhawan movie.
I must admit I am happy I did not to the theater for this one, this is the kind of movie to be watched at home so yes it helps in multitasking as well :)
All the three guys - Ali Zafar,Siddharth and Dibyendu Kapoor were quite good, again did they deliver as good as good as Farooq Shaiqh,Ravi Vasvani and Rakesh Bedi undoubtedly the answer is no and they did go over the top many times.
Taapsee Pannu thought was quite cute
Anupam Kher was over the top for sure
Rishi Kapoor and Lillete Dubey were good.
A pleasant DVD watch is all I would say :)

Olympus Has Fallen - Awesome Action Thriller
Action thrillers are not my favorite subject but the presence of Gerard Butler,Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart were good enough for me to decide to watch this one on a Saturday afternoon.
Impressive it was to the core with some fantastic action sequences and thrills which were totally astonishing they took me by surprise and apart from all the above mentioned actors Mellisa Leo ,Angela Bassett ,Dylan McDermott and rest of the cast did a fantastic job.
Hollywood makes the characters and the sequences look so real that you will have no choice but to remain engrossed in the movie.
This one is a great action thriller with great performances and surely recommended from my end best release this weekend :)

Parental Guidance - A Great Entertainer :)
An out and out fun movie with loads of feel good factor thrown in and lots of heartwarming moments as well.
With actors like Bette Midler,Marisa Tomei,Billy Crystal you can be rest assured everyone has done a commendable job in terms of acting.
Its not spectacular or something noble but a great entertaining movie and totally worth a DVD watch for sure :) Recommended :)
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone - Good yet lacks the real magic :)
Well not as much magical as I thought it would be but nevertheless an enjoyable ride with loads of humor thrown in and yes some good performances from Steve Carell,Steve Buscemi ,Oliva Wilde , Aland Arkin.
Somehow thought Jim Carrey was a bit irritating though I otherwise like him but his hairstyle and look is something to look out that bit is very experimental and funny for sure :)
Overall a time pass fare don't have sky rocketing expectations and you won't be disappointed :) And maybe just maybe you could wait for the DVD to release :)
Jolly LLB - Jolly Good Film Not To Be Missed :)
This courtroom drama turned out to be quite a nice one and much better than I had actually expected to be with some fantastic performances this one is surely a watchable fare.
Arshad Warsi is a first rate actor sad he doesn't get the opportunities he should be getting thanks to weird system of selection of main leads in Bollywood and which is hardly based on real talent.
Boman Irani is fantastic as this mean manipulative lawyer you would just to love to hate him.
Saurabh Shukla delivers yet another awesome performance.
Liked the presence of Ramesh Deo very much he had a brief but a role of immense importance.
Amrita Rao another pretty and talented actress who does not get the right opportunities for the reasons that are best known to the Bollywood system nonetheless it was wonderful to see her sparkling the screen.
Kudos to director Subhash Kapoor for getting together bunch of real good actors and weaving a gripping story and great dialogues and the concept of an under-dog winning the race is always something we all look forward to.
Recommended for sure ...this is one jolly good film not to be missed:)

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns - Interesting watch
Not every sequel turns out to be great but somehow this one surely kept the interesting element alive till the end of it I quite enjoyed the movie for the twists and turns in the plot and some good performances specially Jimmy Shergill,Irfaan Khan.
Human and their dangerous mind games is depicted quite well in this movie only one drawback the length so the editing surely needed a better job and do we really need a sleazy item number all the time I don't think so but well maybe some people need it therefore I guess the cheap kinda item number for those sick men.
I surely thought the movie was interesting but for the length of it.
If you have seen the part one then you might or might not like it so much well it all depends what are you looking in for a movie specially in terms of entertainment.
So this weekend surely my maximum marks is for the magical world of Oz don't mind going for that magical trip once more :)
21 & Over - Not bad is actually funny silly though :)
Yes this one is one out and out silly movie but good fun nonetheless. If you have enjoyed goofy movies like 'Superbad','Role Models' etc. you are bound to enjoy about this one and somehow a movie about friends is a kind of concept which works most of the times at least :)
I saw this in a relatively empty screen so if you think you can wait for the DVD to release then surely this one is worth the laughs :)

Oz the Great and Powerful - Enjoy your trip to the magical land of Oz
Fantasy movies has always been my favorite genre so yes I was waiting for this one eagerly since I got a glimpse of it I mean trailer of course :)
I enjoyed this one immensely and surely one of the best fantasy movies I have witnessed in the recent times yes 'Jack The Giant Slayer' was nice last weekend but this one surely is several notches higher in terms of the special effects, performances and the visual splendor that this one is and there is good dose of humor with some witty dialogues thrown in so apart from being a visual delight this has a good story too so totally worth the money and the time and I am happy :)
Performance wise Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams really stand out defining the evil and good definition par excellence.
Methinks the role of Oz could have been better played by Ryan Reynolds his comic timing is really good and so is his acting.
Mila Kunis is impressive great blend of innocence and then wickedness very well portrayed for sure.
And I also loved the character of the talking and flying monkey and the talking Chinese porcelain doll it is fantasy my friends anything is possible :)
So if you like fantasy movies then this one must be a must watch in your list enjoy the magical trip in the land of OZ and yes I am eagerly awaiting the sequel of this one :)

Akeelah and the Bee - A complete gem of a movie :)
Everyday there is something written in our destiny which we seldom realize till it actually happens to us today was one such day in my life when I was meant to watch this gem of a movie and God did I love it.
Amazing story of faith, hope and belief and an undying spirit of never giving up..A complete gem of a movie not to be missed at any cost and for all ages as they say there is little hope for everyone all the time everywhere just don't give up :)
Sunday, March 3, 2013
Jack the Giant Slayer - Enjoy the ride to this adventure land :)
I had read 'Jack And The Beanstalk' when I was in 2nd grade but the story was so magical I remember it till date so undoubtedly was waiting for the release of this movie eagerly.
This one is surely a visual delight, the pages of the book getting unraveled in the cinematic version is surely a treat to watch wanting you to jump into the adventurous world of Jack :)
Nicholas Hoult fitted into the role of Jack very well and was quite the Jack that I had expected him to be in terms of the characterization and looks he is supposed to have done a good job in the recently released movie 'Warm Bodies' which I am yet to watch of course.
Ewan McGregor as the protective Elmont yet again did a great job its always a pleasure to watch him on the screen.
Stanley Tucci as the mean Roderick was quite impressive job so did Eleanor Tomlinson as the brave princess Isabelle.
Of course there are cinematic liberties taken but that's what cinema is all about more so in a cinema where fantasy is the subject and soul of it..
I was totally immersed in it and enjoyed this one thoroughly so if fantasy is your cup of tea then you just can't afford to miss this one :)
A must watch for all you fantasy genre lovers :)
ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) - Awesome is the word
I am really glad that I did decide to watch this movie and must admit I was really impressed and loved this one completely and wow what an awesome feel good factor yes the word awesome is absolutely adequate for this well made movie.
Yes dance is the USP of this movie but also carries the message of team spirit, friendship, hope, faith and just believing in oneself is so beautifully portrayed that I got completely immersed into this movie and patting my own back for having decided to watch this awesome movie.
This is one movie which had unknown names no stars really except of course Prabhudeva and K.K ( a super actor) and yet the simple factor that the whole bunch of actors/dancers/choreographers believed in what they did turned out to be a brilliant result so loved the concept and execution of the same.
Yes one should dance to enjoy and not to impress this is what Prabhudeva says to his team 'any body can dance' as long as you dance from your heart.
One feet tapping movie this one is and the best dance movie I have seen so far...
Undoubtedly for me this is the best release of February 2013 and if you have not seen this one yet you are surely something good in life :) Recommended ...

I,Me Aur Main - Decent watch
A feel good decent watch but the sensibilities and thought process that has gone in the making of this movie is quite urban so the footfalls for this one in the Indian theaters is likely to be limited but for the crowd who likes to go for different genres this one surely needs to be watched out. I loved the unpredictable ending and not the nonsensical cliched stuff that a lot of Hindi movies come up with. This one makes an interesting pleasant watch.
John Abraham looks great for sure but this role given to Ranbir Kapoor would have taken this movie to another level for sure
Both Chitrangada and Prachi have done well in their respective roles loved their independent spirit..
Zarina Wahab,Raima Sen and Samir Soni were good too.
Nice decent watch for short two hours so recommended for sure

Kai Po Che - An effort worth watching
Kai Po Che - I was waiting for this one eagerly much more than and any Khan/Kapoor/Kumar release this year and honestly somewhere I am getting little tired of that clan and then this well written well directed movie comes like a fresh whiff of air and leaves us refreshed for sure at least left me refreshed for sure :)
This movie as most of you know is based on Chetan Bhagat's very popular book 'Three Mistakes Of My Life' about three friends and how their friendship goes through its share of ups and down during the course of the Gujarat EarthQuake and Riots and a dash of romance thrown in :)
All the actors playing the three pivotal characters are simply superb be it Sushant Singh or Raj Kumar Yadav or Amit Sadh their acting seemed effortless yet outstanding..Amrita Puri whom I thought was the best part in Sonam Kapoor's 2010 release 'Aisha' proves her mettle yet again yes she does have a significant role and she is a complete bundle of pleasure to watch hope she gets more opportunities in the future and we get to see more of this talented actress..
Every supporting actor did a real good job as well and the music by Amit Trivedi is quite pleasant as well.
Very happy for Abhishek Kapoor and for Chetan Bhagat as well at least he got his due credit unlike 3 Idiots where the production ,Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan stole away his(Chetan Bhagat) credit that was like stealing and shamelessly going about it as well..anyways I sincerely hope 'Kai Po Che' does make good money as well apart from the critical acclaim ...
Watch it because it's the kind of cinema that goes beyond the defined boundaries of Hindi Cinema. Watch it because movies like KAI PO CHE needs to be encouraged. A film that deserves an ovation! Recommended for sure :)

Murder 3 - Total Copy Paste Job :)
Murder 3 - If all it takes is pick a foreign language film and decide on some casting and thrown in some music (hindi movie you see so some song and dance sequence has to be there every movie is not Kahaani na ) then all of have a budding director in us trust me just got to get a financer thats it :)
Having seen the original one which is a Spanish movie on Friday evening one thing I can tell one thing for sure Mr.Vishesh Bhatt has done a complete copy paste job without changing the dialogues or any of the sequence for that matter OMG was I in state of shock or what :))
I don't know but somehow I get a feeling Mr.Vishesh was sloshed one day and happen to see this Spanish which is not really known or so he thought and with rich producer dad getting money for the project was not a difficult task for sure and Voila we have murder 3 and I strongly feel that they should have named this movie 'Is Aina Ke Peeche Kya Hai' ;)
But I had company of a good friend so no complaints :)
