Ramona Quimby (Joey King) lives in a typical middle class neighborhood on the west coast(USA). Her family consists of Father Robert (John Corbett), Mother Dorothy (Bridget Moynahan), big Sister Beatrice, or, Beezus (Selena Gomez) and a new baby sister. Also close to the Quimbys is their mother's sibling, Aunt Bea (Ginnifer Goodwin)and her hot school sweetheart Hobart(Josh Duhamel). Unlike Beezus, who is an excellent student and very mature for a budding teenager, Ramona struggles at school, especially with her no-nonsense teacher (Sandra Oh).Every actor/actress fits in their respective character just perfect which adds to the extra sparkle of this movie.Joey King as Ramona stands out she is so very adorable.
Ramona's family's life comes at a very emotional point when her dad loses his job amidst his set of responsibilities but the whole family the critical situation makes this movie really beautiful no over dramatic situations but very realistic and very positive at that.
This movie is completely entertaining and light at the same time real issues of life are managed very well and its an extremely positive movie in all aspect.
