The Last Emperor - Great movie...A Beautiful Unforgettable Epic...Simply Amazing

The Last Emperor is the story about the last emperor(Pu Yi) of China during the times of forbidden city yes its completely larger than life yet very close to life this story is indeed story of riches to riches,this beautiful moving epic shows the departure of an emperor who ruled 500 million people and did what he felt and then due to political and socio economic reasons finally dying as a common peasant in People's Republic Of China in 1967.

Each stage of his life right from his infancy when he was a three year old child and was crowned as the emperor of a dynasty which he knew nothing about all he knew was he wanted to go back to his mother then his stage as a teenager and then of course finally when he gets arrested and have to serve like any other common man there bidding adieu to all the glory and life of comfort and that shows the universal fact very well life is never predictable and that applies to everyone in this universe.

Apart from a fantastic story the movie visually too is a complete masterpiece rather stunning i should say I was spellbound with each scene unfolding it seemed to be just getting better.

I am sure it deserved rightfully all the nine Oscars it had got in 1988.

I can assure you this is one of the best movies made and will always remain a landmark in the world of movies and for every movie lover.
