I have been watching Director's movies since his first one which was the awesome 2005 release 'My Brother Nikhil' - beautiful story about homosexual relationship in the conservative Indian society and the way relationships and life around the people concerned changes and after that I would consider this one as his best work after 'My Brother Nikhil'.
I AM is based on true stories and instances which we are familiar with in the current modern Indian society, the issues and the bruises that we are all living and dealing with happiness and sadness flowing along the sides in proportions which we are yet to decipher which is more and which is less in quantity.
There are 4 stories weaved in this movie connecting one to another so there is no exact culmination of the four stories but each one of them stands out completely with their scope of individuality and gives you loads and loads food for thought so much to ponder upon.
I loved all the 4 stories but if I have to chose the one favorite it would be that consisting Nandita Das loved the way she just stops convincing others why she lives her life the way she does she just listens to her heart which leads to ultimate happiness and causes harm to none :) And of course Nandita Das is top notch, enacting the complex role with absolute ease its an absolute pleasure to watch her perform she is indeed a great actress with talent in abundance.
Both Juhi Chawla and Manisha Koirala were such a delight to watch unlike the Katrinas, coming to other notable performances would be that of Sanjay Suri,Rahul Bose,Arjun Mathur,Abhimanyu Singh and Rushaad Rana.
Please don't miss this movie one of a kind...Brilliant...Recommended
