Water For Elephants - Brilliant...Spectacular...Great Story...Awesome Performances..Magical....A Must Watch

Having not the read the the novel made me watch the movie without any preconceived notions and did I enjoy and savor every moment of it yes I did and still reeling under a beautiful feeling to say the least :)

This movie takes you back to the era of 1930s and makes such a memorable and amazingly beautiful journey of it makes every bit of the journey totally etched in our memories so easily and effortlessly.

I am not giving out the story though I am sure a lot of you have read the book but trust me the movie won't disappoint you in terms of story and performances and I am quite sure about that.

Apart from a great story and great screenplay the setup and the costumes of this movie is exquisite and deserves a special mention as it takes you back to that era and you can get completely immersed in it and I am sure everyone would find that very appealing.

The movie is a wonderful mixture of romance, passion, action, tragedy, joy and yes everything you can imagine and you would want to watch keeping the 1930 era in mind of course :)

Please do yourself a favor and watch this movie and I know and I am confident none of you will curse me :)

Performance wise definitely Christoph Waltz is brilliant and deserves an Oscar nomination..Reese Witherspoon is fantastic and yes Robert Pattinson is good too.

The Green Hornet - Watchable for 3 reasons - Special Effect,Jay Chou and Christoph Waltz

The first release in the genre of superhero and 3D movie of 2011 honestly is watchable because of three major factors one the special effects two for the cute Jay Chou and three for Christoph Waltz the guy who got the well deserved Oscar for 'Inglorious Basterds' apart from these three positive factors the movie didn't have much to offer for sure.

This is not the usual superhero story but the one where the supposedly sidekick/assistant is more of a superhero and the mastermind than the actual superhero.

So here's this spoilt misunderstood brat who inherits his Father's newspaper agency and after the sudden demise of his father he fires all the old staff at his house and then he realizes he misses the guy who brewed some great coffee in the morning and then somehow manages to trace him back and voila he also realizes that this person is a super dude with serious good knowledge about many stuff which he has absolutely no clue about and he decides to save the city and take on with the goons the result of course is mix of great special effects and not so great story.

Oh and did I mention this has Cameron Diaz oops I was just about to miss mentioning about her well thats the kind of presence she had in this movie...

Christoph Waltz as the villain simply rocks and his presence is majorly felt in the movie like that of Jay Chou's

So not a bad movie but not a fantastic movie either yes the special effects and humor surely works.

And I haven't seen the earlier series of The Green Hornet so there's no scope of comparison here..
