Bahubali 2: The Conclusion - Two years is a long wait but completely worth it :)
Indians across the world was waiting for the part 2 and I am no different.
Of course the nation and beyond wanted to know why Katappa killed Baahubali(remember part 1).
The quest is quenched with a powerful story, awesome performances and one of the most visually appealing piece of cinema the Indian Film Industry has ever witnessed.
Good winning over the evil is a concept I have always loved and in this one its portrayed in one of the best way :)
History is witness to two major things about women, one they have been tortured and suppressed and also the root cause of most of the wars and evils, sad but true,I rest my case :)
Letting any bit of the story out would be completely unfair to not only to the genius S.S. Rajamouli but to the entire cast and crew who have put their best read heart and soul.
Loved the performances by every actor:
Prabhas - he is so good, his eyes speak really wonder why Bollywood does not give him any opportunity, guess its Bollywood's loss
Rana Dagubatti - Bhallaldeva couldn't have been played by anyone else surely, again Bollywood's loss, such a good looking dude
Anushka Shetty -Pretty and very powerful and again Bollywood's loss if they have still not discovered
Ramya Krishnan - Superb performance,23 years back when I saw her in the opening song of 'Khalnayak' I thought even then she was superb.
Nassar - Versatile is the word,he never fails to amaze me.
Sathyaraj - great job,a character of immense importance
The movie is worth every bit of hype and more thats been created for the last two years.
This magnum cinema has to be viewed in the big screen, its your loss if you don't :)
Of course recommended you just can't afford to miss this one , I am gonna watch this one again :)
The best Indian movie release of 2017 so far undoubtedly :)

The Zookeeper's Wife - Strong story with excellent performances
Based on the non-fiction book of the same name written by the poet and naturalist Diane Ackerman, she was inspired from the unpublished diary of Antonina Żabiński, it recounts the true story of how she and her husband, Jan Żabiński, director of the Warsaw Zoo, saved the lives of 300 Jews who had been imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto following the German invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939.
The couple gave all they had to save all they could, indeed when we take care of the broken and discarded, there is a rejuvenation which occurs within and for the ones that are taken care of.
To live in uncertain times but for the ray of hope and the belief that one day things will be alright it does take a lot of courage, grit and loads of determination to keep one going.
There's a beautiful line in the movie which will stay with me forever,'You look into the eyes of the animal and you know what they are thinking, but people are not like that' and oh so true it is :)
Jessica Chastain is outstanding as Antonina Żabiński,a woman of abundant strength portrayed extremely well.
Johan Heldenbergh as Jan Żabiński is superb.
Daniel Brühl as Lutz Heck is excellent.
A strong story with excellent performances by the entire cast makes this one so worth a watch.
Its not flying in the air which gives birth to superheroes but simple acts of kindness which makes an ordinary human being a super one.
Great job by director Niki Caro.
This one is a beautiful movie, absolutely recommended.
Life is all about hope and never giving up.

Begum Jaan : Hard hitting cinema
Glad Srijit Mukherji took the reins and directed the Hindi version of the much acclaimed Bengali movie 2014 release 'Rajkahini'.
Freedom comes with a heavy price which means a lot of painful sacrifices and alas we still remain prisoners.
This is not a feel good movie but a great piece of art which bound to make you think about the not so good past read partition.
Acting by every actor in this movie is superlative.
Vidya Balan proves yet again she is one of the best actress we have in Bollywood.
I always thought Gauhar Khan had the potential when i saw her in Rocket Singh Saleman (2009) and Ishaaqzade (2012) unfortunately Bollywood never utilized it to the maximum, glad she was chosen for the role of Rubina, she does full justice and more.
Rest of the cast comprising of Pallavi Sharda,Rajesh Sharma,Chunky Pandey,Ashish Vidyarthi,Rajit Kapur,Ila Arun,Vivek Mushraan,Naseeruddin Shah,Pitobash and the rest have done a wonderful job.
Srijit Mukherji take a bow once again :) A big round of applause :)
Recommended for the brilliant performances and hard hitting story.

Kaatru Veliyidai (Tamil)- Love knows no logic :)
Love an emotion which has no explanation and the moment there is an iota of agenda or ulterior motive in it then its no more love but an insult to the most beautiful emotion any living being can experience.
The above synopsis pretty much sums up Mani Ratnam's latest movie for me.
Yes there are cinematic liberties but then its a piece of fiction and it has every right to it.
Visually the movie is simply spectacular and music by AR Rahman is quite soothing too.
Aditi Rao Hydari has done a wonderful job.
Karthi has a striking resemblance to Abhay Deol , sometimes he came across a bit awkward, but most of the time he was good.
Rest of the cast comprising of RJ Balaji,Rukmini Vijayakumar and Delhi Ganesh were quite good too.
U-Turn girl Shraddha Srinath in her brief was effective too.
Recommended as its a beautiful piece of cinema with the heart in the right place,I loved it :)
Going In Style : True Friendship can never go out of style :)
After many weeks of Science Fiction movies from Hollywood comes a fresh movie on fun and friendship.
Add to the fun factor some awesome actors like Morgan Freeman,Michael Caine,Alan Arkin and you get a complete fun ride of great entertainment.
Statutory Warning - Robbing a bank isn't that easy, remember this a work of fiction :)
Age is just a number and that should never stop anyone from having fun :)
Recommended for the sheer fun movie with awesome performances.
The Fate of the Furious : F&F 8
The Fate of the Furious (F&F 8) - A series which started in June 2001 and continues to keep our interest engaged have to give it to the production house for the interesting project and just for the records F&F 9 is scheduled for 2019 release and F&F 10 for 2021 release :)
Some breathtaking car chase sequences shot in different parts of the globe - Cuba,USA,Russia to be precise and a story with reflections from the past makes this one quite an interesting and engaging watch.
Did the car chasing sequences surpass the prequels ,well I would not compare as the current series has equally thrilling car chase sequences.
A beautiful message sums apart from the high end VFX scenes - True Friendship does not change with the season but stays with you in your good and rough times.
Paul Walker was missed surely :(
All the actors comprising of Vin Diesel,Dwayne Johnson ,Jason Statham,Charlize Theron,Michelle Rodriguez,Tyrese Gibson,Ludacris,Kurt Russell,Nathalie Emmanuel,Luke Evans,Elsa Pataky,Scott Eastwood have entertained.
Get set for a vrooming weekend :) Recommended :)
