Life of Pi (3D) - This movie is sheer brilliant just completely loved it specially having the book read recently yes there have been edits from the book but then the essence of the story is extremely well captured not for once it does not let you down.
Ang Lee has kept us spellbound throughout the movie with his mind blowing direction and a fantastic adaptation of the already fabulous book ..great work indeed.
We get to see glimpses of Pi in different phases of his life right from his childhood but the one phase that stays with us is of course the teenager one the one which faces life with full determination, grit and faith and never loses hope they keyword to this gift called life .
Suraj Sharma OMG was this is his first movie just can't believe it this guy is simply brilliant and I very happy that he finally got his hall ticket to write his exam he is a first year college student from St.Stephens Delhi this guy along with Ang Lee deserves all the pats in the back but no wait how can I forget the 450 pound Royal Bengal Tiger - Richard Parker and the cinematographer and the background music and the brief roles by Adil Hussain and Tabu yes they are brief but does not fail to leave behind their impact for sure..
Tabu - So delighted to see her she is a class apart a fine actress and a complete stunner but too old for our Hindi movie 40 and 50 plus heroes i guess no wonder we hardly get to see her and then again Bollywood movie directors too hardly come up with anything good apart from the brilliant exceptions like English Vinglish,Cheeni Kum,Paa,Barfi once can just count them anyways surely hoping and waiting to see more of her movies hope some good Indian director gives her a fantastic role that she truly deserves :)
Adil Hussain very impressive must say..
A brilliant movie in all aspects whether the content of the story or visual brilliance I was completely immersed in the world of Pi and Richard Parker in those 127 minutes and yes for once I wished this movie was a bit longer :)
This is one movie you just cannot afford to miss all I can say is miss it at your own risk as missing something like this would be a sin for sure.....
It left me with the following two thoughts :
Faith is a faith with many rooms..
And above all don't lose hope ever...
Happy Weekend Guys :)
