Night At Museum - Part 2
Night at the museum a definite fun to watch kind of movie for sure. One needs to just leave the logic and thinking caps behind..The historic characters are not just new and improved but also come with a greater comic value. In what the film lacks in a relatively mundane storyline, it compensates with a wonderful underlying message. There's also a love story again but what struck me as more potent was the greater bond that exists between the rest of the characters; Larry and Jedediah, Jedediah and Octavius etc.Hank Azaria was brilliant as Kahmunrah especially in the way he could turn from serious evil to light-hearted joker in the blink of an eye. Speaking of which, him and his trio of evil helpers were fantastic together.I loved the character played by Amy Adams too very ahead of the times..All in all a nice light hearted entertaining movie worth a watch.

TOP 10 ROMANTIC MOVIES(HOLLYWOOD) THAT MAKE ME TINGLE
1)Breakfast at Tiffanys (1961)
Struggling writer and gigolo Paul Varjak (George Peppard) moves into a Manhattan apartment and befriends neighbor Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), a woman who lives off her looks and charm. As Paul learns more about Holly, the friendship between the two hustlers turns romantic. The movie is a lighter-than-air romantic comedy, set in a fantasy New York and rides on the irresistible charm of Audrey Hepburn at her peak. It’s a must watch!
2)Casablanca (1942)
"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine," says Rick (Humphrey Bogart) when his old flame Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) shows up in his nightclub. But World War II is raging, and Rick and Ilsa must make painful choices. The movie’s well-structured plot, flawless acting, and unforgettable dialogue makes this one of the best films of all time.
3)Notting Hill (1999)
Bookshop owner William Thacker's (Hugh Grant) world begins to turn upside down after the world's most famous actress, Anna Scott, (Julia Roberts) visits his store. A few minutes later, Will knocks into Anna on the street and spills his orange juice over her. He offers her his place to change, and hence starts a tense courtship between an everyday man and the woman every man dreams of. Screenwriter Richard Curtis has crafted a traditional romantic comedy that is surprisingly frank in its depiction of the lives of the rich and famous and the price they pay for success.
4)Pearl Harbor (2001)
Pearl Harbor is a classic tail of romance set during a war that complicates everything. When childhood friends Rafe (Ben Affleck) and Danny (Josh Hartnett) become Navy pilots and meet Evelyn (Kate Beckinsale) a Navy nurse. Rafe falls head over heels and next thing you know Evelyn and Rafe are hooking up. Then Rafe volunteers to go fight in Britan and Evelyn and Danny get transferred to Pearl Harbor. And while Rafe is off fighting everything gets completely whack and next thing you know everybody is in the middle of an air raid we now know as "Pearl Harbor Pearl Harbor is an epic tale of love, loss, and patriotism. It is a heart-wrenching love story entwined around the war struck times of World War 2.
5)You have Got Mail (1998)
Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) owns a small children's book store, but is coming under competition from Joe Fox's (Tom Hanks) giant Fox Books, a mega store with a cafe and discounted books. The two become rivals, without realising that the romance they are conducting anonymously on the internet is with each other. The film’s mix of romance and comedy is seductive in its own right, making you want to watch it forever!
6)Pretty Woman (1990)
Edward is a rich and sophisticated businessman. Vivian is a Los Angeles prostitute struggling with her lifestyle and has a hard time paying the rent. On a business trip to Los Angeles, Edward hires Vivian to be his girlfriend for a week while he visits the local social circles. Love and complications complicate their arrangement and have the pair wondering if their story could a happy ending. Pretty Woman is one of Hollywood's best and brightest motion picture love stories. The movie gives out a message that is solid, timeless and memorable.
7)Sleepless In Seattle(1993)
The movies are full of alternate universes and maybes that make them a great escape. Sleepless In Seattle is a great romantic comedy. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan star in a movie where they are hardly onscreen together and yet we feel both of their characters infatuation. It's an amazing job that director Nora Ephron does in making us care about the relationship between these two characters when their not hardly together onscreen. The movie also has great performances, from the leads and from supporting players Rosie O'Donnell and Rob Reiner, as well as a very goofy but sweet turn from Bill Pullman. This movie will make you feel really good.
8)The Notebook(2004)
The Notebook is one of my all-time favourite movies. Its a constant, and classic love story that makes you feel as if you are there watching it.. as if you are one of the characters, which makes the impact of the story just that much more real. There really are no words to describe how this movie makes you feel, but one thing is for sure... It will make you feel. After watching it, i've often just.. sat where i am and just thought about it. It's just one of those movies that you will think about 30 years after watching it, and still get that same feeling in your heart.. and you'll know that it touched you in one way or another. If you haven't seen it, you really are missing out... Its a classic!
9)Serendipity(2001)
The first time I've seen this movie, I knew I'd add it to my "classics", and here it is. Kate Beckinsale shows her talent -finally- within the movie by blending right into the act of John Cusack. As the movie starts, the movie's philosophy starts to reveals itself . The fact that love will find a way through it all is buzzing all around the movie and makes you feel warmer even though it's winter and snowing. The ice skating section and the ending section on the same "floor" are wondrous moments which any people would like to live - which makes the movie closer to the audience. The thought of someone "right around the corner" waiting for you is all around the movie and makes you feel like go out and find "them". A really cute story with a good sense of humor. Deserves my 9! I just LOVE watching it!
10)P.S.I Love You(2007)
P.S.I Love You based on Cecelia Ahern's much acclaimed novel of the same name is definitely a treat to watch for all the fans of romantic movies. It was great to see Hillary Swank in different kind of role as i have always been watching her doing good but heavy roles (Million Dollar Baby,Freedom Writers,Boys Don't Cry etc.)Kathy Bates as Hillary's mother in the movie did a good job too. Both Gerard Butler(read Sexy) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were impressive too. This is a beautiful story of a woman's journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life.Surely worth a watch.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Wow what a movie absolutely mind blowing and trust me its strictly a theater watch :)
I felt i was completely transported in the world of Harry Potter read Hogwarts here and wow what an amazing journey it was how i wish it never ended but now the wait for deathly gallows begins..
Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts turns out to be quite the exciting year. First off is the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn, who is a bit more useful to Harry than he realizes. Next, Harry obtains a Potions book which used to belong to the very mysterious Half-Blood Prince. Harry finds that the Half-Blood Prince's ancient scribbles are written along the margins of almost every page, giving Harry advice on how to improve greatly on his Potions work, and also teaching him a few helpful (and dangerous) spells along the way. Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him. Harry's year gets even more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing, so Harry assumes, Voldemort's bidding. Harry quickly becomes determined, and slightly obsessed, to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and putting an end to it. Yet, during this time, Harry and his friends go through daily life, busy with school work, Quidditch (in which Harry has been made captain of the team), and, of course, romance. Ron has found a new girlfriend, Lavender Brown, a perky (if not obnoxious) Gryffindor student, and Hermione is not happy about it. Ron and Hermione's friendship takes a toll throughout the school year and Harry, as usual, is stuck in the middle. Harry, meanwhile, is facing a romantic dilemma of his own: he realizes he is falling for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley, who is unfortunately dating Harry's classmate, Dean Thomas. Harry's pining for Ginny and Ron's hilarious relationship with Lavender give this story a large dose of reality. Throughout all the school drama, however, the obvious darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is always apparent. The incredible action-packed climax is sure to leave the audience stunned and, inevitably, prove that you shouldn't trust everybody who you think is good and also prove that not everyone can manage to survive.
Emboldened by the return of Lord Voldemort, the Death Eaters are wreaking havoc in both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that new dangers may lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. He needs Harry to help him uncover a vital key to unlocking Voldemort's defenses critical information known only to Hogwarts' former Potions Professor, Horace Slughorn. With that in mind, Dumbledore manipulates his old colleague into returning to his previous post with promises of more money, a bigger office and the chance to teach the famous Harry Potter. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry's long friendship with Ginny Weasley is growing into something deeper, but standing in the way is Ginny's boyfriend, Dean Thomas, not to mention her big brother Ron. But Ron's got romantic entanglements of his own to worry about, with Lavender Brown lavishing her affections on him, leaving Hermione simmering with jealousy yet determined not to show her feelings. And then a box of love potion-laced chocolates ends up in the wrong hands and changes everything. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof with far more important matters on his mind. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
Don't give this a miss..

The Proposal
'The Proposal' directed by Anne Fletcher is a real pleasant movie and the comic timing fantastic like her earlier movies 27 dresses & Step Up,I absolutely loved it.
One of the best romantic comedies I have seen in a while.
Definitely one of the best movies of Sandra and Ryan Reynolds was just perfect in this one.
Ryan Reynolds has perfect comic timing in this one. His facial expressions in this movie were priceless,he is so lovable and adorable in this one actually he is in most of his movies..
The story goes something like this Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He grudgingly accepts, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor. When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone--including the immigration officer handling their case. She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again.
Highly recommended... Don't miss it...
