Big Hero 6 - Walt Disney Animation at its best :)

Loved this one from Walt Disney Animation Studios , this action-packed comedy-adventure just tells us to keep faith, hope and the love intact and keep it going and emphasizes on the most beautiful relationship in this earth which is friendship :) Thought Baymax, the plus-sized inflatable robot was the most adorable being in this movie :) Love the way Walt Disney has grown in the recent years focusing on one notion and that is to realize the power we have within ourselves and unleash it to experience the most positive phenomenon :) The film is extremely entertaining and enjoyable for the whole family. The animated special effects were sheer brilliant, but well thats Disney for you always innovative :) Loved that the story between the two brothers Hiro and Tadashi which was so touchingly told, loved it ya I am quite a sucker of emotions that way :) Its a movie for all ages please please do not miss it and make sure your children watches it as well..passing thought never let the child in ourselves die ever :) Recommended :)

Kill Dil - Awful

This is what happens when you mix a samosa with pasta and do a complete mish mash job of it, hence the end result is bound to be tasteless and probably will leave a bad taste in one's mouth. Movie making is a passion and if one thinks that one will get away with all the gloss minus the soul in the right place well they are sadly mistaken. Shaad Ali started his film career with some pleasant movies - Saathiya (2002) ,Bunty Aur Babli (2005) and then he made a disaster called 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' (2007 ) and after 7 years he comes back with a movie which is so so casually made lacking any depth in it rather aimless. Ranveer Singh is nice but getting a bit stereotype. Ali Zafar is admirable Parineeti Chopra is as effortless as ever, but again, her 'effortlessness' seems to be getting repeated in every film of hers, she really has to 'reinvent' herself soon. Govinda is a pack of surprise the best part of the movie. Music is not bad but definitely so many songs were not needed in this a quick succession. And I thought the climax of the movie was handled the worst. Highly avoidable..In today's time both time and money are equally precious so why waste them on non worthy stuff :) There are many other good movies like Gone Girl,Big Hero 6 ,Interstellar watch them if you still haven't :)

Beauty And The Beast (La Belle et la bĂȘte ) - Magical

This one is a French adaptation of the famous fairytale we have all grown up with. The animated version of this from Walt Disney is one of my all time favorite movie but must admit I enjoyed watching this one immensely as well. Love love fairytales and movies with happy endings and magic and positive feelings :) The movie is shot beautifully in the most exotic locales of Germany so that makes this one a visual splendour too. If fantasy genre is liked by you then most certainly you must watch this one and in big screen. Vincent Cassel is superb so is the French actress Lea Seydoux. Recommended for a magical weekend watch :)

John Wick - For Keanu Reeves :)

Action movies are not exactly my favorite genre but if the main lead is someone then I do make exceptions, a reason good enough to watch the movie, in this case it was Keanu Reeves :) The movie promised action and kept its promise to the T. Action it was which if you like the genre I am sure you will find it mind blowing. If vehicles flying around at high speeds, great gun play excite you then this is the movie for you. Keanu Reeves is simply superb and looks so cool and fit :) Worth the money and time spent :) Action movie fans don't miss this one :)

Boyhood - Mindblowing

Director Richard Linklater who gave us the awesome 'Before Midnight',Before Sunset' and 'Before Sunrise' has taken this movie into a different movie making altogether, something never seen or experienced before for sure to the best of my knowledge. The movie depicts the life of a young boy, Mason, from age 5 to age 18, so the movie is actually filmed from year 2002 to 2014 i.e.over 12 years with the same cast and this is what sets it apart from the rest. BOYHOOD is an excellent ode to growing up and parenting, loved every bit of it. Ellar Coltrane as Mason is sheer joy to watch. Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette as Mason's parents and newcomer Lorelei Linklater as his sister Samantha are simply brilliant. Loved the way the film captures the essence the rocky terrain of childhood like no other film has before. Snapshots of adolescence right from road trips and family dinners to birthdays and graduations and all the moments in between become memories one carries for lifetime. Life is all about the moments that makes memories..why not make them beautiful at least most of the time :) This movie is an experience ..don't miss it :) Recommended :)
