Going In Style : True Friendship can never go out of style :)
After many weeks of Science Fiction movies from Hollywood comes a fresh movie on fun and friendship.
Add to the fun factor some awesome actors like Morgan Freeman,Michael Caine,Alan Arkin and you get a complete fun ride of great entertainment.
Statutory Warning - Robbing a bank isn't that easy, remember this a work of fiction :)
Age is just a number and that should never stop anyone from having fun :)
Recommended for the sheer fun movie with awesome performances.
The Fate of the Furious : F&F 8
The Fate of the Furious (F&F 8) - A series which started in June 2001 and continues to keep our interest engaged have to give it to the production house for the interesting project and just for the records F&F 9 is scheduled for 2019 release and F&F 10 for 2021 release :)
Some breathtaking car chase sequences shot in different parts of the globe - Cuba,USA,Russia to be precise and a story with reflections from the past makes this one quite an interesting and engaging watch.
Did the car chasing sequences surpass the prequels ,well I would not compare as the current series has equally thrilling car chase sequences.
A beautiful message sums apart from the high end VFX scenes - True Friendship does not change with the season but stays with you in your good and rough times.
Paul Walker was missed surely :(
All the actors comprising of Vin Diesel,Dwayne Johnson ,Jason Statham,Charlize Theron,Michelle Rodriguez,Tyrese Gibson,Ludacris,Kurt Russell,Nathalie Emmanuel,Luke Evans,Elsa Pataky,Scott Eastwood have entertained.
Get set for a vrooming weekend :) Recommended :)

Airlift - Brilliant Cinema
Kaun kahta hai aasmaan mein chhed ho nahin sakta Ek paththar to tabiyat se uchhalo yaaron..indeed it takes one person to sow the seed of the much needed change, that one belief that one needs to stand up for and go ahead with it, yes its not going to be easy but then when is life easy :)
Movies like these reaffirms faith in Bollywood and makes cinematic experience so amazing :)
A big thanks to the producer for backing up this project which every Indian deserves to watch and with all the cribs appreciate our country and country people just a little more :)
A big salute to every team member responsible for the biggest and most historic air evacuation in the world history, proud moment of Air India,Indian Air Force and Indian Airlines.
Special applause for Director Raja Krishna Menon who poured his heart and soul in story telling and direction of this brilliant movie.
Definitely Akshay Kumar's one of the best performance till date.
Shah Rukh Khan surely needs to take a cue from Akshay Kumar if he does a Singh is Bling then he also come with an Airlift ,Baby, Special 26 and though i am a SRK fan I really think its high time he does a good good movie , he owes this to his fans , come on give us another 'Chak De India' or 'Swades' kinda movie :)
AK is outstanding , loved him in this movie :)
Nimrat Kaur is quite good but the actors who really stole the show apart from AK are definitely Prakash Belawadi as the irritating refugee he was simply fabulous :)
Another actor whose performance is noteworthy is Purab Kohli.
Also Inamulhaq as the Amitabh Bachchan fan Iraqi Major Khalaf Bin Zayd is simply superb.
Kumud Mishra as the Babu in External Affairs ministry is real good and there is a certain charm about it.
You just can't afford to miss this piece of Cinema :)
Recommended of course :)
Chot lage to sabse pehle Ma ki hi yaad aati hai..period :)
I repeat do not miss this one :)

Bajirao Mastani - Brilliant Piece Of Cinema :)
Still thinking which would be the best positive adjective to start the review with smile emoticon 'mind blowing' , 'brilliant', ''mesmerizing','Awesome', yes I can go on and on.
I am glad I chose to watch this one later i mean after Dilwale just restores faith in good cinema.
Bajirao Ballal (Balaji) Bhat also known as Bajirao was a noted general who served as the Maratha Peshwa (Prime Minister) to the fifth Chhatrapati (Emperor) Chhatrapati Shahu Raje Bhosle of the Maratha Empire from 1720 until Bajirao's death , Bajirao fought over 41 battles and is reputed to have never lost one. Bajirao is acknowledged as one of the greatest warriors in Indian history. He is credited with expanding the Maratha Empire.A great warrior from pre independence era.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali was determined to make a film on the lives of Peshwa Bajirao, Kashibai and Mastani for quite some time now. I remember very well he kept vacillating between numerous actors, before he chose on the present star cast of BAJIRAO MASTANI and surely he couldn't have chosen a better star cast , everyone have given one of their career best performances.
The love story, the conflict, the dramatic altercations, the battle sequences and of course, the mersmerising setting... BAJIRAO MASTANI is an enthralling period film that transports you to an era you had only read about in the history books. At the same time, loved the introduction of the on-screen characters and the sequence of events with utmost simplicity so that the enthusiastic spectator is able to get the grip of the goings-on effortlessly.
I am sure Sanjay Leela Bhansali have made the movie as per his imagination trying to keep the information as authentic as possible hopefully.
Coming to performances every actor is simply brilliant.
Ranveer Singh is stupendous and clearly in super form. He holds you attentive right from the first frame till the penultimate moments. The effortlessness with which he gets into the skin of the character is noteworthy. In addition, the chemistry with both Deepika and Priyanka is delightful. It must be said that this is his finest work to date.
Deepika Padukone is enchanting as Mastani and displays the strength as an actor in scene. The year 2015 clearly belongs to her for choosing diverse parts and delivering winning portrayals in PIKU, TAMASHA and now, BAJIRAO MASTANI.
Priyanka Chopra's portrayal of Kashibai is sheer brilliance, proving yet again that she's among the finest actors we have today.
The supporting cast is top notch, especially Tanvi Azmi is absolutely terrific, Milind Soman is wonderful, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi [and Yateen Karyekar are simply superb, Mahesh Manjrekar, Raza Murad are Aditya Pancholi enact their respective parts very well.
Despite a run time of almost 2.40 hours , the pacing is just right and at no point does the screenwriting deviate into unnecessary tracks and the taut writing has definitely helped further , the end result is nothing less than a brilliant piece of cinema.
The battle sequences executed by action director Sham Kaushal are awe-inspiring and have been executed with magnificence.
The production designby Sriram Kannan Iyengar, Sujeet Subhash Sawant, Saloni Ankush Dhatrak is eye-filling and makes you acknowledge the effort that must have gone into recreating the long-gone era.
The apparel as well as the styling of the characters is truly majestic.
I give 10/10 to this one , undoubtedly the best release this weekend.
This is surely a cinematic gem one cannot miss.
If you thinking which one to watch between this awesome cinema and Dilwale then obviously undoubtedly this one hands down, it would be outright unfair to compare Sheer Class with Crass.
We make mediocre cinemas of super duper hit but this piece of brilliant cinema deserves much much more than that,a piece of history we should all be proud of and you will realise what a tolerant nation we always have been right from the time Mughals have invaded us.
The dialogues , the face off scenes are simply superb.
My mom usually gets bored during most of the hindi movies I drag her to watch with me and she loved this one smile emoticon
Ok so here's the truth if you have to chose please please chose this one over Dilwale and make this great cinema a commercial success too.
Take a bow Team Bajirao Mastani ..you guys deserve it.
The time invested in the dark dim cinema is so worth it and every bit of ticket money is worth it :)

NH10 - Anushka Sharma's best ..gripping story..worth a watch
Director Navdeep Singh gave us an extremely interesting movie in 2007 which I am sure many of you remember 'Manorama Six Feet Under ' and then now he is back again with NH10 so was the wait worth it ?
Yes the wait was totally worth it because this crime thriller will definitely fly your wits away and the seating on the edge kinda feeling does not go away even once during 115 minutes.
There is a stark and real harsh reality starts after every last mall built in the urban areas of our country for example the state of Haryana specially in their rural areas does not buy or follow any guidelines given by the constitution of India but follows its own rules of the jungle where the even the cops are useless and goes by the rule of the jungle.
The rule of the jungle is kill people if they don't abide with your idiotic rules of some damn gotra etc.whatever utter crap is that.
It looks like a substantial part of this country is still living in the dark ages..extremely unfortunate ..really have no other words.
Coming back to the movie it deals with one of the most burning topic of today 'Honor Killing' where even mothers don't think twice to kill their own daughter neither the brother thinks twice in killing his own sibling.
In the debate of right and wrong sometimes you just have to take the path of wrong to set everything right.
Anushka Sharma this girl rocked the movie , somewhere i started thinking she was getting typecast but in this movie she has really come of age and is totally carrying the movie on her slender shoulders very very ably.,,impressed.
Neil Bhoopalam another good actor to watch out for ..always liked him since 'No one killed Jessica' and 'Shaitan'
Darshan Kumaar was superb as the bad guy , remember the adorable husband of Mary Kom smile emoticon
Deepti Naval as the cold blooded murderer in disguise of a mother does a superlative in her brief role as well.
My favorite part of the movie is when Anushka's character finished all the bad characters ..survival of the fittest it was..loved it.
Another favorite scene was when Anushka 's character lights up a cigarette at a critical juncture before going for that final kill, that one moment does a lot for a woman breaking the shackles of a warped male dominated mindset in the heartland of India
The emotions shifting from shift from empathy to antipathy is electrifying indeed smile emoticon
Go watch this movie which reaffirms faith in movie making and also assures the magic of bollywood is still there for us to discover smile emoticon
Yes its a violent movie but the fact is we are living in far more violent times..
Recommended as such gems are not made everyday and guess teaches us to be thankful about the pleasures of urban life even with its problems..
A movie not to be missed..
